NOT ANYWHERE CLOSE TO AS ADVERTISED
First, I should have listened to my instincts and downloaded the trial version BEFORE purchasing.Had I done this I would HAVE NEVER purchased this product.As it is, having bought the product from a box store and NOT online, I made a $99.00 mistake, plus tax.
A product that has a future ... but just not there yet.
Add fairly good add-on and support for Power Point presentations, but it does currently have limited things to offer.
Too robust for machines older than a year
I use PowerPoint a great deal as a teacher and thought this would upgrade my presentations. Unfortunately, every one of my computers had insufficient video memory to allow the software to work. Excelent Buy
We was looking for an Accounting Package for our business, and we find Peachtree Accounting 2006 that is great for our use. We currently using to carry the accounting of our business. We reccmmend it

Works as advertised, but expect no support, complicated menus and junk mail
I purchased Peachtree Accounting for my small business to keep track of my inventory, purchase and sales.The software is a power tool with numerous reports and abilities which to be honest, are beyond my needs as the owner of a small business, but that means that there is room to grow.Initial setup of my company records took a bit of time due to navigation which is counterintuitive and poor descriptions in the manual.Basically, the authors of the software and manuals assume that the software user has an accounting background and done offer a lot of help if you do not.The process is also hindered by the fact that you must start with accounts already set up based on an example business which means that I have dozens of account numbers which I will never use and had to go back and delete.

Policies Now is an uncomplicated, no-frills application containing all the basic information any employer might need to create an employee handbook. Installation is somewhat lengthy, but also very straightforward. Policies Now is simple enough for the most novice user. Caveat Emptor
Used this in the past, and may again in the near future.One caveat, though. Spring for an attorney to review it before use, so it doesn't come back and bite you.

Easy and fast.
I used this software to create a handbook for the company where I am employed. I'm always pressed for time, and Policies Now was simple and quick. I created an entire handbook in no time. I receive email updates on changing HR laws from Knowlegde Point, which is helpful. Over 100 policies written in 2 hours

Not a new update!
I have been a Calendar Creator user for several years.Love the product.However, I am very disappointed with 2005 Deluxe.Every few years I update the software to the latest version.THIS IS NOT AN UPDATE!It is the same product they have been selling since 2002 with a new label.Don't let the "2005" label fool you.Personally, I feel cheated by the company because they are passing this off as a new update by relabeling a three year old product.

Horrible Product
I am really thinking of returning it to Amazon. I think I will stick with good-'ol MS Word. You see I wanted a 12-page form and spent two days creating it. It's a form to survey boats so it also had graphic areas for photos (about 12). Well, all seemed fine until you printed a filled form to .pdf. The size of the created .pdf was near 10MB! (Similary done with MS word resulted in a 1.2MB finished .pdf). Well, I can't be e-mailing 10MB files!
Missing some features, has a learning curve, overall good
I really like OmniForm 5.Actually I'm using version 5.1 and I'm very satisfied with it.

What a worthless piece of garbage
I could probably crap out a program that works better than this one.Downloading transactions with this is just a migraine and a half since it would not download from my institution.I just kept getting error messages when I knew all my information was correct.I had this thing set up and running fine for about a month and then this starts happening.I've had to reload this program before just because it's been a major pain in my a#@.I whole heartedly agree with a previous reviewer that I would have given this zero stars if at all possible.Amazon people can you make a function so that I can give this zero stars and rest at peace.Find something better to use than this POS.I hope this helps and have a very bad day.
Functions work but import limitations
The most frustrating aspect of Quicken is that when you upgrade it destroys allyour detail.I lost a lot of work because of that.I've never really recovered from having over 1 year worth of detail lost.There was no warning when I upgraded and couldn't get back the detail.
Transaction Recognition?I don't think so.
I purchased Quicken based on its claims to have greatly improved auto-recognition of bank transactions.

Good product
Quickbooks Premiere for Professional Services is definitely the best software in its class for consultants and contractors. It really streamlines the billing process and provides you with detailed info on the status of your business. However, there are soe features I found to be unduly complex (like the template designer). Overall a good buy though.

QuickBooks 2006 is greatly improved
The latest version of QuickBooks is much easier to use.It is easy for non-accountants to do the bookkeeping now.There is a great new home page that makes it easy to navigate to the tasks you want to do.The new user set up process is a quick, easy interview.For small business owners, this is a "must try" product.

How about getting on the ball in Security, Intuit?
In the year 2006 it is INSANE that we as IT pros still have to hack registry hives to get this software to run as a limited privilege account to better secure our computers.

Fair Financial Software
I purchased Microsoft Money to keep track of my monthly budget and a couple of small investments that I had.While there is some good stuff there, Money has quite a few shortcomings which make it much less than what I expected.

A Quality Improvement . . .
If you look at my review history, you may note that I've given very few five-star reviews. I save five stars for outstanding products. I believe Wordperfect X3 is best described as outstanding.
Does Not Perform As Advertised
I upgraded from Wordperfect Office 12 to X3, but have returned the upgrade to Wordperfect.The much touted ability to import PDF files is so poorly implemented that it is all but unusable.In addition, the Wordperfect Mail component will not load data files while my antivirus (ZoneAlarm) is running in the background.Corel Technical Support takes no responsibility for the incompatability.Do not upgrade unless these issues are addressed. ... Bought this program because I was continually having problems with other programs I used to make business cards, address labels, and especially labels for CD's.I could never get them to align properly on Avery media, no matter what.They would always turn out off kilter, which made the labels look less than professional.With Design Pro 5.0, the first time I tried to make CD labels, Viola!! -perfectly centered.I consider this an extremely good buy. Only one minor drawback, doesn't have as many designs available as some other programs, but that is a minor price to pay.
