I use microsoft outlook, and was excited that this product supposedly syncs with outlook.Yay, I thought.Well, first time I sync, it deletes all my outlook calendar items!Took me an hour to restore everything to normal, and I have yet to find a setting where it won't do that!

I've used Lotus Organizer for a long time and decided it was time to upgrade to a WinXP version. In looking at the latest release and the significant price tag; I decided there has to be something better. AnyTime Organizer is just as effective and for less than half the price as Lotus. It's not filled with all the customizable color/bells and whistles; but it doesn't have to be. It's effect, doesn't take a huge amount of memory to run on my laptop and does the same job just as well. It's a good buy.

I tried what seems like everything to do the simple tasks I wanted to do:maintain my address book (with some flexibility to attach things like driving directions), and keep all of those little snippets of information that couldn't be neatly and logically kept elsewhere without learning a complex application.

The only thing worse than version 10 is version 11. On a computer with 3.0 gHz dual core, 2MB RAM, 1TB Storage, this program is EXCRUCIATINGLY SLOW when viewing any more than a handful of documents! I need SEVERAL HUNDRED per folder, and it is coming up FAR short.

Just bought version 11 online due to a problem that just occurred with PaperPort version 9. Thought I would upgrade to see if it was a Windows problem, or a Nuance issue. Never really got to find out, as this product only installs to drive C:. Couldn't get it to find drive J: where the previous version was installed. Nuance wanted $9.95 before even looking at the problem!!! I've been a computer engineer for 15 years, and never heard of a company not even helping with their "buggy" software to install- What a rip-off!!! Stay away from Nuance products.

I started using paperport 8, 3 years ago and liked the product.When version 9 pro came out, I purchased it and really liked the PDF file feature and had no problems with it.It was slow at first, but I changed my virus scan software to not scan every file I opened and it corrected the speed.

This may be the best value in the world, but when companies are not up front about product activation, I consider them outright deceptive.As a software developer myself, I understand how companies want to try and address piracy; however, what am I suppose to do if this company ever goes out of business?I build my own PCs and change over systems every two years or so and need to reload all my programs...who knows where this company may end up next year or the year after that.If they go under and I need to reinstall, then what? I make it a point to NEVER by any software requiring product activation and I would not have bought this if I had known - at least it was cheap.Companies, you want your customers to be honest - why aren't you??At least be up front if you're going to require product activation so the consumer can make an informed purchase.

I have purchased the FloorPlan 3D version.It states on the box that it provides 1000 eitable floor plans in the soft ware.There are no instructions in the User guide to find these.The text support to speak to a person cost $9.95 per call.That is not mentioned on the box. On the box it states that there is a 30 day Money back guarentee. It does not state that it is a limited warranty for defective disks only.Read more

This software was recommended to our company in a seminar. The software might take longer in some instances to do the performance evaluations. However, it is more thorough and yet flexible enough based on different employee positions to evaluate. The software also provides ways to organize employee notes that can be stored in the software and that can be used for reference when doing an Evaluation.

Maybe the GUI is great. Maybe the calendar-sharing features are great within the tiny enclave of NUDC users cloistered in various organizations. But when a groupware product can't do basic things like publishing iCalendar or Free/Busy files and querying LDAP servers for contact information (c'mon, even Microsoft's products can do that!), it's next to worthless in my book. Why even have the groupware features? The server daemons are nothing but flaky, hog the CPU, collapse under load. My advice? Stick with free/open source alternatives that are standards-based and won't leave you stranded on a calendaring island. ... Read more

The information is very useful, just the e-book information itself is extremely valuable.The other "reviewer" said that he did not find it useful, and that there was no flexibitliy.However, I disagree, you can make any information as flexible as you choose by simply "exporting" the data.Many forms here, give you all the legal basics that I simply could not find on line (that is without having to pay for it).There is very little information that you can actually obtain for free anymore, and if you find it, you've probably invested hours upon hours of time that could be better spent running your business.I'm thrilled with my Legal Business Pro, now I can do all the work myself, and finetune it as I see fit (by simply exporting the finished document).And for a business owner that does business in several states, it has you covered, as you simply select which state(s) and it extracts the information relevant to you needs.A great resource, for those who would rather do their own work than shell out cash every time they need a simple legal form drafted.

This is a great software product for small business owners. It has dozens of forms, sample letters, and worksheets to help with forming a business, hiring employees, borrowing and lending money, leasing space, etc. In addition to the forms, it includes the full text of five Nolo books: Legal Guide for Starting & Running a Small Business, Tax Savvy for Small Business, Everyday Employment Law, Marketing Without Advertising, and Leasing Space for Your Small Business. The books alone make this an amazing deal.
