Horrible Product
I am really thinking of returning it to Amazon. I think I will stick with good-'ol MS Word. You see I wanted a 12-page form and spent two days creating it. It's a form to survey boats so it also had graphic areas for photos (about 12). Well, all seemed fine until you printed a filled form to .pdf. The size of the created .pdf was near 10MB! (Similary done with MS word resulted in a 1.2MB finished .pdf). Well, I can't be e-mailing 10MB files!
Missing some features, has a learning curve, overall good
I really like OmniForm 5.Actually I'm using version 5.1 and I'm very satisfied with it.

It's not Quickens fault!
[02/21/1999] A federal judge in Texas has moved to out law Quicken Family Lawyer, a legal software program. The reason. It was too helpful. Judge Barefoot Sanders determined that by helping people fill our their legal documents, the program treads illegally on lawyers' turf. Specifically, it violates law that bar anyone but licensed lawyers from giving legal advise. The case was brought by a lawyers' group, whose interest is clear enough. Lawyers typically charge anywhere from $100 to $650 an hour. Quicken costs $29.95 for life.
I Am Disappointed
I just purchased Quicken Home and Small Business Legal Suite 2003.I am surprised that the software is no longer supported and that no updates are available.I am also surprised that there is not a residential lease document.There was a residential lease document in Quicken Business Lawyer 2000.

Good for organizing a data base
Procite 5 is good for organizing a personal data base but not that great for writing a manuscript when you use APA syle. The program underlines titles and journal volumes rather than italicizes them as is required now. Furthermore, when you generate a bibliography at the end of a manucript, it skips a line after each entry rather than double spacing all the way through. The program also did not link to my word processing program (microsoft word 2003) as stated. I had to call tech support to copy and paste some files to do this. ... Read more

InfoPath is an awesome product that allows the creation of electronic forms quickly and easily. What , no VIEWER???
I would have to say this product is pretty amazing. However, to use it to it's full capability would require you to have a robust Active Directory, Windows 2003, Sharepoint Portal Server, Exchange 2003, SQL Server 2000 and a ton of trained end users.Read more

Crystal Reports is OK for serious professionals, but too complex for the average user.I won't go into all the basics, but if you need to read a customer review on Amazon to know if this software is for you, you should probably not be buying it.I have received reports made with Crystal, and they are often completely unusable because the person using the software did not know what they were doing.Ultimately, the report tools already included in most database and spreadsheet software is powerful enough. ... A great source of information for the independent.
The information is very useful, just the e-book information itself is extremely valuable.The other "reviewer" said that he did not find it useful, and that there was no flexibitliy.However, I disagree, you can make any information as flexible as you choose by simply "exporting" the data.Many forms here, give you all the legal basics that I simply could not find on line (that is without having to pay for it).There is very little information that you can actually obtain for free anymore, and if you find it, you've probably invested hours upon hours of time that could be better spent running your business.I'm thrilled with my Legal Business Pro, now I can do all the work myself, and finetune it as I see fit (by simply exporting the finished document).And for a business owner that does business in several states, it has you covered, as you simply select which state(s) and it extracts the information relevant to you needs.A great resource, for those who would rather do their own work than shell out cash every time they need a simple legal form drafted.
The best software product for small business !
This is a great software product for small business owners. It has dozens of forms, sample letters, and worksheets to help with forming a business, hiring employees, borrowing and lending money, leasing space, etc. In addition to the forms, it includes the full text of five Nolo books: Legal Guide for Starting & Running a Small Business, Tax Savvy for Small Business, Everyday Employment Law, Marketing Without Advertising, and Leasing Space for Your Small Business. The books alone make this an amazing deal.
