It contains information, but is it software?
While sold as software, this is a hastily assembled conglomerate of information and some poor (in both content and formating) examples of documents. They have not even bothered to put any dialogs to help the user insert automatically trivial information (names, locations, dates,...) into the documents. A good reference guide for typical legal problems.
Nolo offers great guides for specific legal issues related to personal and business use.This guide is a decent tool for users to call upon for typical small business issues.I must warn though, that not all legal questions and problems can be solved using self-help guides.Be realistic in your expectations of the software and it should serve you well.

Not as advertised, simply a watered-down online book
I was, unfortunately, very disappointed in the offerings of this product.I was under the impression that it would have a number of ready-made business forms I could customize for use in my business (contracts, amendments to the corporate charter, etc).That was not the case.This product is more of an online-book with very generic and watered-down information than anything else.If you were thinking of purchasing this product for their "forms," don't. ... Not as good as shareware
As indicated in other reviews, this product is horribly buggy.Its only consistency is that it is creatively inconsistent.A rating of 1 is too high. Programmer's Nightmare
I don't have the space to convey just how much production time is continually being lost to this abysmally bad product in our shop of senior developers.I could go on for days.Try a little experiment before buying it: go to the CrystalDecisions website and look at some of the most common errors reported.Basic stuff like INSTALLING the product, getting it ready to package up with an install application, pointing it to a DB through just about any connection technology.And it's all downhill from there.I still don't get why there isn't a better product out there yet.

Programmers beware.
The program is full of holes and traps for the programmer.The new method of including the report in VB programs uses a lot of overhead and slows a VB program down if the number of reports is more then 4 or 5. Some necessary dependacy files are not included and it will not easly load onto computers not using the internet (a great many business computers).Crystal Software includes a 60 days support package that is not at all enough.Just visit the Crystal developer web site to view some of the problems.Save your money and use your older versions until they get it right. ... This program is the biggest joke I have ever seen. Unless I am missing something you can not edit any of the forms. I can make better forms with winword. If you want some plain forms to print out without adding your company name ECT, And if you do not mind waiting 15 minuets for their legal page to go away, you might want to buy it.
