    I use microsoft outlook, and was excited that this product supposedly syncs with outlook.Yay, I thought.Well, first time I sync, it deletes all my outlook calendar items!Took me an hour to restore everything to normal, and I have yet to find a setting where it won't do that!

    I've used Lotus Organizer for a long time and decided it was time to upgrade to a WinXP version. In looking at the latest release and the significant price tag; I decided there has to be something better. AnyTime Organizer is just as effective and for less than half the price as Lotus. It's not filled with all the customizable color/bells and whistles; but it doesn't have to be. It's effect, doesn't take a huge amount of memory to run on my laptop and does the same job just as well. It's a good buy.

    I tried what seems like everything to do the simple tasks I wanted to do:maintain my address book (with some flexibility to attach things like driving directions), and keep all of those little snippets of information that couldn't be neatly and logically kept elsewhere without learning a complex application.

    This is a huge improvement over every previous version. I've used several versions of ACT back to 3.0. The most recent version I used was 2000. It has always been a somewhat buggy regardless of what version but overall has worked well.

    I spent 2 weeks trying to make ACT2005 work.It has numerous problems, multiple malfunctions in multiple features,won't synch with handheld, and runs very SLOW. Tech support told me there was something wrong with my computer,however the computer ran fine before I installed ACT2005 and runs fine now that ACT2005 has been uninstalled. Total waste of my time and money.

    I was perfectly happy with mt ACT 6.0 2004. I fell for the pitch announcing the 2007 release saying that version 6.0 would no longer be supported. I upgraded and have regreted it ever since. It is slow as H*ll. Glitchy and just doesn't work as well as 2004.

    I have been a Calendar Creator user for several years.Love the product.However, I am very disappointed with 2005 Deluxe.Every few years I update the software to the latest version.THIS IS NOT AN UPDATE!It is the same product they have been selling since 2002 with a new label.Don't let the "2005" label fool you.Personally, I feel cheated by the company because they are passing this off as a new update by relabeling a three year old product.

      This product has gotten a lot of bad press here on Amazon, apparently due to several years of buggy releases. I took a chance hoping that the recent flurry of patches had cleaned things up (v2 came out summer 2005, and by Feb 2006 is on R3). CM v2.03 seems quite stable to me, after two weeks of daily use. I've imported my QuickBooks and Outlook names without a hitch.Since I use QB only occasionally, it's not a problem to have to start it up once in a while to sync with CM.I don't find that a big deal.You can create Groups, which is how you organize all your names.Names can belong to multiple groups.Go into the Names panel, select your group type, and only those names appear. So, despite a previous very negative review, it's a breeze to manage names.I have over 2000 names in my db, and haven't had any issues.This is not a replacement for a major-duty CRM product, by any stretch.It fills a need for folks such as myself who need a way to organize our customer data.Is it perfect?Hardly.I must fire off a product enhancement email at least once a day (Just click the "Help/Make a Suggestion..." drop down). There is also a thriving Intuit-sponsored user forum online.

      On the recommendation of a friend who uses an earlier version, I bought ACT! 2006. The product is very slow. Not only is ACT! itself slow, it appears to run a SQL runtime at system start, which on my system (a reasonably fast midrange system with a lot of memory) slowed down system startup, even when I wasn't using ACT!. ACT! was too unreliable to actually use for anything that mattered.

      This program makes it pretty easy to prepare bulk mailings. But if that's the main reason you're buying it, you need to know that you'll need to buy it again every year. The zip-sorting data needs to be updated each year, and the program won't allow you to process a bulk mailing if it's been more than a year since your last update.         This is by far the worst product I ever had the displeasure and unfortunate circumstance of purchasing. I'm very computer savvy and have been in the graphic design field for over 7 years using many different software programs and systems with no problem. Due to an "optional" password I had to install and uninstall this program 3 times before I could even open the program. Once I had it installed I tried to import a .csv contact list only to find no option listed for that. Then I found that I could import the list using Goldmine and Excel. I clicked the link and found I needed additional software from Microsoft which I downloaded. After that, I opened my list in Excel and clicked on Export to Goldmine to which I received an error about target tags. It said to use the help screen in Excel and of course there is no mention of target tags except to say that they are needed to export to Goldmine. I tried EVERY single other option to import my data list into Goldmine and sometime the program did nothing but freeze up or do nothing at all. Other times half a list would import or just names but no addresses would import. Even if I got the list into Goldmine correctly, the program is confusing and filled with bells and whistles that 99% of users will never use. I use contact software to manage my current and potential client list, schedule new calls, keep notes on clients and mail merge to print envelopes. I have used a program called ACT for years and loved it. It's simple and user friendly but I had an old version so I figured I would try Goldmine since their website touted that it was such a great product. It is HORRIBLE! They also offer no support for their product. Their website says to use its support forums for advice on the product but the links to that forum on their website are broken. They offer no support UNLESS YOU PAY $60 PER HALF HOUR OF PHONE SUPPORT. The fact that they know you will need support and then bilk you for $120 an hour to get it should tell you what kind of company this is, the quality of software they sell, and how they conduct business. Buy ACT or any other product under the sun but DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT! You are better off writing all of your contacts down on toilet paper with a crayon than using any product by FrontRange.

        The absolute best feature of this software is the ability to sync with your handheld. The ability to call-up any password or account info in my handheld when I'm travelling is the exact feature I was looking for, but yet have all the info also stored on my computer at home. The reason I only gave four stars is the lack of a search function in the application - you have to scroll through all your entries to find the one you want.

        Just checked the demo version - this program does nothing but saving passwords. It lacks most functions that are typical for similar programs:5-0 out of 5 stars A must for e-commerse user
