Support is woefully inadequate
I made a mistake by inputting my federal withholding amount into
You Can Not Electroncially File More Than One State Return
If you think you can file more than one state return electronically think again.Intuit only allows one federal and one state return per social security number.Any extra returns must be MAILED in.

Free with turbo tax-and worth it
I have used both this product and TaxCut by HRBlock/Kiplinger. They are essentially the same, but I give the edge to Quicken and Turbo Tax. Read more

Seriously buggy---may cost me big time
This software has a serious bug that may cost me a great deal of money. My first tax-prep software
I can't really compare this software to others, but I can say that it did a pretty good job for me. Just spend about 20 minutes answering questions in the beginning, and it will do most of the rest. My tax return consisted of several jobs for both my wife and I, working in two different states, mutual fund and stock purchases and sales, interest and capital gains income, and a mortgage. I thought this would make my return to complicated for a comuter software, but everything I needed was here. Nad if for some reason you don't like what it does, you can manually change any entry. However, if you manually change entries, you will not be allowed to e-file. Good alternative to Turbotax
I bought Taxcut this tax season because I was not interested in having Intuit's intrusive product activation features placed on my computer. I found Taxcut to be a decent alternative to Turbotax. (Is there any reason, though, why we have to put up with H&R Block putting Earthlink advertising on my computer?) ... Read more

They'll take any chance to screw you out of money
I've been a TurboTax user for many years for both business and personal. This year, they shipped their business CD in a case with a triple tab going through the hole in the middle of the CD. The tabs are so small, that it is nearly impossible for a person with big hands (like myself) to press all three at once and at the same time lift the CD out of the case. When I did, the CD cracked...

Mean & Nasty
I have been a loyal user of Turbotax for many years, business and deluxe. This year, after installation of both products, my hard drive crashed, and trying to get my products re-"activated", involved a lot (and I mean a lot) of useless (and I mean useless) internet chat-time, and at least three wait-on-the-phone calls (where you have to have a pin to call)(which they DON'T tell you they're banging you for $$$ each), and finally get them to send me replacement CD's - which don't work either, and I gave up...

Excellent Software, Even Saves Tax Returns as PDF File
Excellent software, had no problems installing or using the software. Sure the new version does require an activation code but so do many other packages due to unauthorized sharing of the software, and you can get the code via phone if you do not have internet access. All in all an excellent package. If you want to print on another computer just save the return as an adobe acrobat PDF (PDF format is built into software now) and print it. ... Read more

C-Dilla, in detail

In the past I've used and enjoyed Inuit's products - good user interface, useful features, but lately I've grown wary of their marketing masquerades. After installing TurboTax2002 I am finally fed up. I hate spyware. Good bye Intuit. I'll be using Microsoft Money (instead of Quicken) and the associated online tax preparation software next year.

Beware of Intuit C_Dilla

H&R Blocks Taxcut State
OK People, First of all, I can not rate this software! Picked up the software at the local Staples store. On front of the box, "TAXCUT from H&R Block, STATE. Ok that,s good. But inside the box, the "QUICK Start Guide" has "BUSINESS State". So before I open this box, what is it?? Regular personal state tax or business tax??

Need FED version to use State one
You do need the FED version to use the State one. What if I only want to use the State version...buy the FED version?

I selected this product because it was the only comprehensive business product I could download (why pay for and wait for shipping if you can avoid it?). Worst software I've ever tried to use
I purchased this software based on reviews I read on Amazon where Turbo Tax wasn't rated as highly on the day I was researching. In reading the reviews today, I am gratified to learn that my problems were common among other users. Worst program EVER

Not worth the time and hassle. Bad reviews are correct.
Purchased dQB Pro 2006 earlier this year. Worked fine until recently when it suddenly started having problems with the "Enter Sales receipts" function. Program announces fatal error and crashes. No other problems; however, Intuit wants $75.00 to discuss the issue.I used the previous version with no difficulty, but Intuit's excessive support fees for correcting QuickBooks Pro 2006 for Mac bugs now have me looking for alternatives.

It works for a small business with basic accounting needs.
I find the software both easy to use and powerful enough to track the finances of my small business. The invoice and customer tracking sections are especially well designed. It is an all around good product for my business.

Stay in Business, Don't buy Quickbooks
This software is filled with all sorts of glitches. In order to fix the glitches, you must pay for "support", which is basically a group of esl students with tabbed notebooks. I spent hours on the phone trying to solve several problems with the program. None of them were solved, and I was still charged. I now take my laptop to the accoutant every week and struggle without it for several days while she does my books since the transfer to PC function does NOT work. Aatrix is even worse.
