Good Stuff!
I recommend this product to anyone who wants to get up to speed on InDesign. I have not finished it yet, but I have jumped to different sections to get the answer I needed quickly.

A MUST HAVE FOR ANY LEVEL USER!
I had no previous experience with page layout programs so I needed some expert guidance and boy did this DVD training from Total Training deliver. Steve Holmes is the instructor and he has to be the best training instructor I've ever watched and I've seen some good ones i.e. Deke McClelland, Jacob Rosenburg, Scott Kelby to name a few. His English accent and super smooth (no studder) voice is pleasing to listen too and his knowledge of the program is impeccable.

Just Like Having A Personal Tutor!
I love learning from Total Training videos as you really get your money's worth. It is the fastest and easiest way to learn or hone your skills. This is a very inexpensive way to have your own personal tutor. This 2-DVD training series appealed to me because I have the Adobe Creative Suite 2 and wanted to learn to better use my time or streamline my initial concept to end product. Part 1 of this training series covers creative design for print while part 2 is about output techniques and cool web design. The tutorials are geared for beginner through advanced users. You can go through the lessons in a linear fashion or just jump from chapter to chapter (or sub-chapter) to use the lessons as references and reminders. A nice feature is that it remembers where you left off and goes back to where you left off the last time. You can even bookmark the chapters or sections you may want to revisit and review.

The Professor Teaches Microsoft Office XP Plus is a valuable tool for people new to the programs or those with a good deal of experience. Lousy Training
Maybe it is because I have spent much of my working life training people to work using a computer that I dislike this package so much. It is very superficial training for a new person.There is no training by actually doing outside of minimal entries in answer to a queston.One certainly does not feel "educated" after completing the course.Many aspects are ignored and there is no manual to use to pursue a greater understanding of what is not covered. ...
