5-0 out of 5 stars great game !
i ordered this game for my son. he really likes it alot and so do i. i say buy it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent graphics; good for number, letter, pattern recognition
TECHNICAL ASPECTS FOR INSTALLATION
3-0 out of 5 stars Good content, poor structure
We bought this game for our (...) daughter and we were disappointed. There are virtually no instructions and the navigation between screens and games is mostly guesswork. On several screens we had to ask ourselves what the goal of the page was. Many of the games are nice and our daughter likes them, but the overall experience as a user is not great.

I got these games from Target, and I love them! Carnival Chaos is funner than Castleblanca Quest, but both are fun. They are also educational. All the games are fun, (except for a few on Castleblanca Quest) and they teach you math skills. I love them and you will too! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars This product is a LIFESAVER!!!
It is amazing to see the difference. I have great kids, but they don't always listen. In just a short time after using EasyChild, my daughters are finally keeping their rooms clean. With EasyChild, my children no longer argue with each other or me. The girls are doing great and love the allowance portion of the chart. As a single mom, I am very busy, working full-time and running the kids around to their activities. For me it was all about saved time and getting chores done around the house. I have much more free time now. Easychild has reduced my parenting time from 2 hours per week to less than 1/2 hour. I love spend time playing and having fun with my daughters rather than reminding and reminding over again. It is a great product, every parent should try ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Saddle up : Time to ride
I have had this game for about 2 years now and I still can't figure out the code for the wheel thing! It is a fun game but it can be frustrating! The graphics are okay but the way the horses back up is really weird! When you pick the hooves it's realistic that if you accidently pick the frog (the inside part of the hoof) you loose points but the amout of pebbles in the hooves?! This game is neat because the competions are great and you can make your own personalized competition and the horses come in a wide vairity but I think Saddle up with Pippa Funell might be more enjoyable!

4-0 out of 5 stars This game is really cool!
At first, this game was confusing. The hoof picking really confused me. The trick to hoof picking is to NOT clean in all spaces that look dirty. Only pick the right side of the hoof and try not to get the top. The mystery was hard to solve, I had to chase a crazy person on horseback five times before I could follow him without being seen and it was kind of frustrating. I got to do lots of competitions, but winning more horses meant more chores. Talking to the people was fun (except Garance). I LOVED this game and I recommend it to anyone who is patient and loves horses!

5-0 out of 5 stars Boring
It is perity boring once you play it alot but it is perity fun.the other thing about it is once you are this close to ending the game it will get so hard you even need a grown up with you.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Main Problem with XP (Possible solution)
I have found when I first tried to play the scrabble game, I had the same problem of the screen going blank and machine crashing.
1-0 out of 5 stars Scrabble Complete - Serious Problems Encountered
System requirements for this game include Windows XP. It loaded up fine, but would produce a blank screen when I tried to run the program. I went to the Atari website where the FAQs advised that all programs running in the background would have to be closed. This means I would have to drop my virus scanner and firewall in order to play the game and I was unwilling to do so since I have an always-on connection.
1-0 out of 5 stars Do NOT buy this game for Windows XP
My son bought Infogrames/Atari/Hasbro Scrabble v2.0 for me as a gift. The game has a faulty copy protection scheme - it requires the CD to be in the drive to play, but then fails to recognize that the CD is present.I spent hours trying to get this game to work because I didn't want my son to feel bad about the gift he gave me.

4-0 out of 5 stars solid and entertaining for ~5 year olds
My daughter (4 going on 5) has had a lot of fun with this. For the price and relative to a lot of other similar products, I'm happy with the depth and quality. The review suggesting "negative stars" is completely off base - this is game software, and isn't intended to impart deep education. The review giving one star simply because it must be run in admin mode is also short-sighted - knocking the whole product simply because of a common OS incompatibility is silly (I'd say more than half of our children's software suffers from this).

4-0 out of 5 stars daughter now 10 and still loves it
I purchased this originally for my daughter when she was 7.WEll, we moved and lost it.She was devastaded!!I ordered another one for her from X-mas and I was surprised that she still wanted to play with it.I know that the skill level is for much younger children ,however she enjoys it for the design purpose.Plus, who is too old for Cinderella?????

4-0 out of 5 stars Favorite of my 3 yr old Cinderalla fan
I bought this for my 3 year-old who adores Cinderella in any form. She loves putting the furniture and characters in the rooms and quickly learned to navigate. She does get a little frustrated when she can't put the furniture precisely where she wants it.Not a lot of learning value, but has really helped her gain control of the mouse and learn basic computer skills.Otherwise, just fun and entertaining for a very young one. She'll outgrow this before she turns 5, I'm sure ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Pep's Birthday Suprise - Pretty good (too many bad reviews! YIKES! Escape the bad reviews!)
I used to feel bad about it even before I played it because of the plot. It felt like it ruined my Action Peps stories (see Putt-Putt Time Travels and Putt-Putt Circus reviews). But when we got it from the library, it was great! But it's real different. Putt-Putt's voice is different. Putt's voice changed a lot because it also changed in Putt-Putt Joins the Circus. Also, different glovebox and image of Pep in glovebox. (Why does he keep Pep in his glovebox anyway? I don't think it's good to put ALIVE DOGS in gloveboxes.) Well, let's say it's not all that bad, just different. But, just because it's different dosen't mean it dosen't remember when it wasn't different; in the preview where he's telling Mr. Kibble, the pet feed shop owner, about Pep not having any parties, Putt-Putt thinks and the thinking bubble has a preview from Putt-Putt Joins the Parade, the first Putt-Putt ever, where he gets Pep, and in the invatation song two cards slide across with 2 previews on them, one from Putt-Putt Time and one from Race. (We only played Race once @ friend's house). Only I have a TERRIBLE complaint: I reccomend you put it window by clicking Menu>Options because Windows Logo key and Alt+Ctrl+Del dosen't help! Only Alt+F4 and in the credits young kids could get frustrated cuz' they can't quit! They don't know bout' Alt+F4!Signed, StoryMaker. "Gotta trust the kid's review!"

1-0 out of 5 stars Not a worthy addition
My children (3& 5) are huge Putt-Putt fans.My older one has 'graduated' to Putt-Putt Travels Through Time, the most challenging and imho, best designed of them all.
4-0 out of 5 stars Putt-Putt come back!
My daughter (and I) have loved Putt-Putt.Particularly "goes to the zoo" and "racetrack" games. This game just does not run as well.It is slow and the speech is choppy. The voice of Putt-Putt has changed and not really for the better.I wish I would have read the reviews here before purchasing it.Everything the previous reviewers have said is true. ... 2-0 out of 5 stars disappointing
My 4 year old son has been playing computer games for about 6 months and does really well at navigating the mouse and listening for instructions.I sit with him until I know he knows how to play.I can't leave him with this one.You have to search to find where you want to go and the information I think it gives on the dinosaurs is either below or above his level. He knows alot about dinosaurs and this doesn't expand on anything.I think maybe if it were a little more realistic...and the game gets stuck and acts slowly.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great lessons on the ocean
This piece is great for kids. You should also consider the adventures of Captain -- Captain Jon's Island Adventure and Captain Jon Explores the Ocean.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great game if you want to learn about marine biology!!
This is such a cool game! The Magic School Bus games are all quite good.I really like how you can visit many different ocean zones so you can see that not all parts of the ocean are alike. It is unique that you can "perform" your own science experiments on the same program that you can play fun games on.I like the game with the crab. :)

4-0 out of 5 stars Busytown is fun to play !
This game is very fun to play, and it is very educational;in my opinion. I am 9 years old and (strangely) I find my self playing it occasionly. It has no errors on my computer and I recommend it to children. The reason why I didn't put one more star is because it gets a little boring after several times of playing. But that's just my opinion.Anyways, good and recomended for kids! There are songs, too and they are okay for me, sometimes I hum them around the house.:) PS parent(s) if you have little kids in your home that like Busy town and Richard Scarryyou could get them this product. 5-0 out of 5 stars 6 year old is fascinated by this program!
Our six-year-old and his four-year-old brother have spent hours with this program. They love creating their own contraptions. We often hear them laughing with glee about the funny chain of events that they have created. The program looked complicated at first, but it has a very good set of tutorial challenges which teach you about how the various components work (gears, lazers, mandrils on conveyor belts, vials of nitroglycerine, etc.).Our six-year-old is now able to solve most of these challenges without any adult help. Not every child will enjoy this program, but if you have a youngster who is intrigued by technology and how things work, give this program a try.You may be surprised about how much they can learn from it at a young age.

4-0 out of 5 stars A Delightful Brain Teaser
With me being a fan of Sierra and the original DOS version of The Incredible Machine, I had to get this one. I was not disappointed. With many new gadgets, better graphics, and fun animations, I was as pleased with this version as I was with the original. There are tons of puzzles to keep your brain working well into the night - and beyond! Puzzle fans will really like this game.

3-0 out of 5 stars game is O.K.

4-0 out of 5 stars ClueFinders Toy Store - Russian Blue Witch reviews
I really like this. If you don't know who the ClueFinders are, click Laptrap (the yellow floating guy) and click on the ClueFinders Club button. I used to think it was a club you join and pay money but no, it's just an information center. You might as well know you need to get 3 of everything, I didn't know that with the spark plugs, I only got one. The spark plugs is the map game witch other reviews complain about. It's not confusing, it's just boring. My favorite game is where you experiment to knock down the toys but I only play it 3 times because I don't want the ClueFinders to have any proof that they went on there adventure. Originally, I'd do 20. Eldon the Elevator takes a really long time on level 4. I really liked the plot and I always make up stories where kids are in stores after they close. Ali Trap is really cute & I wish she was in more games besides Reading Adventures where she dosen't talk and is duplicated. This game is best for high-ish ages who know a lot about multiplication & division. Don't get fooled by the box, the robo dog is actullay good by giving them a smart chip for the unshrinker. Signed, RBW

5-0 out of 5 stars Seems to be a good game..
I bought this game as a part of a three pack for Cluefinders.AFterwards I read a review where a person had trouble installing this on an XP system. That was one reason why I bought this game as the box states "Now Featuring XP compatibility.". With a bit of trepidation, I installed it in my computer, and then let my 8 year old have at it.I must say installation on the XP system went fine and after only about 3 hours of play we haven't noticed any strange glitches. This is definitely more of a learning game as opposed to a more fun style of game like Pajama Sam or Spy Fox.I saw that my child had to fill in the blanks of sentences, using words provided, and then arrange those sentences into a sensible paragraph. That provided a bit of frustration, and even the proper arrangement wasn't obvious to me.Still,by randomly moving the sentences around, you can eventually get the answer they are looking for.Same with the math questions. You will get an equation to solve and about 25 different answers are on the screen, and you click on the right one.I have no doubt my child just clicks till she gets the right one if she doesn't know how to do the equation. For less then ten dollars I got 3 Cluefinders games, and with only trying this one game, I am satisfied with the purchase. It seems perfect for this age group of 7-12 years where Reader Rabbit and cutesy games are too easy for them, and they want to feel like they are solving a mystery but also practicing school skills. ... I bought this for my son when he was 2. He really liked it then, but didn't have the mouse skills to use it alone. Now that he is 3 this is his favorite computer game. His mouse skill are good enough that he can play it on his own while. The games involve pre-math skills like sequences, sorting and matching. As the child completes tasks correctly, the games become more challenging.

4-0 out of 5 stars Need to update to Mac OSX
The product seems nice, but runs in a clunky and confusing Mac OS9 window.i wouldn't recommend this for Mac users until it is updated.

5-0 out of 5 stars Super Math Game!
As a parent and former preschool teacher, I can highly recommend this game.My 5 year-old comes back to this game again and again. The activities in this game are creative and unlike other preschool games. My daughter particularly enjoys one game which requires choosing the heaviest/lightest toy, and uses a scale in addition to numbers to show the concept. There are games to teach sorting by multiple characteristics, pattern recognition, and addition as well. All games are fun and provide hints if needed, with constant reinforcement. This game is a worthwhile addition to your software collection! ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Good program but with a caveat
Everyone else has covered the positive aspects of the game well.
5-0 out of 5 stars Great over and over
"It is really good" says my almost-7-year-old daughter. She and her twin brother have played this game countless times since we first purchased it over 2 years ago, maybe 3 years. Quite challenging when they were younger and still fun, especially for my daughter. 3 levels of difficulty, quite a few different activities & games, a nice goal at the end (pun intended). Really good for learning basic computer skills as well as logic and problem solving. Once the kids understood how it worked, I never had to help them with it--they could go through the whole game on their own. One of if not the best computer games I've seen for 4-6 year olds.

5-0 out of 5 stars Surprised and very pleased.
This is my very first childs software game. I was quite amazed with it. Our 4 yr had never touched a mouse before, yet she (faked) a cry when she had to stop playing after her first 40 minutes. She needed only occasional help learning the game and of course it's even more fun if your nearby to share her excitment at the many surprises presented. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars If only native XP ! ! ! !
This is an AWSOME game! I've trudged through perhaps 25 children's games for my daughter before I hit this one. This group of programmers really knew their stuff! I was ecstatic when the gingerbread guy asked "Easy or (a little bit) Harder?" The Super VGA (grin) setting of 640x480 256 colors flipped my XP desktop for a loop, but we had so much fun with this that I didn't (don't) care.

5-0 out of 5 stars Two winners in one package!
We purchased this for my 6-year-old when she was in kindergarten. Now she's in first grade and reading at a third-grade level.Pooh can bear a small part of the credit for that, as this bright, fun, joyous pair of CDs contains lots of good letter and word identification games that have helped her go from "I like Mommy and Daddy to read to me" to "Let me read to Mommy and Daddy."The math CD is just as much fun, but of course the game is numbers, not letters and words. These programs are perfectly on-target with the characters and with the teaching methods, and hey, everybody loves Pooh and his friends.Excellent package.

5-0 out of 5 stars Repurchasing because I loaned it out!
I am a home childcare provider and was a teacher and all the children have loved these. The reading one has helped all my children with letter identification and sounds and the math is excellent as well for counting, one to one correspondence and more.I believe in it so much, I am buying it for my second child to use. These are the best of the Pooh learning games if you ask me!

5-0 out of 5 stars The 3 kids love it!
We have three children ages 3, 3, and 5.All of them love it and I even enjoy taking a turn or two :).The games teachexcellent skills for school and stress math and reading in a fun and interesting way.The kids love earning items to be put in their garden and contraptions to be added to their treehouse. We have to set the timer so everyone gets a turn.Read more
