5-0 out of 5 stars A very good game
This is like a real race game. But you do not need a Powerhouse pc.It worked well on 3 pcs. (At press time apc was broken)Does welland a hint hit the fire power up key while the powerups are clcleing. :-)

5-0 out of 5 stars No hype, just real fun.
I will make this simple. This game is fun. Easy interface. Nice graphics. All ages may apply. Better than the first in many ways. Very detailed levels. Runs smooth on a moderate system. Don't miss this. It won't be available forever! It works on my xp system as well!

5-0 out of 5 stars LR2 is SO much better than the first one
Lego Racers 2 is such a great game! You travel to exciting new worlds: Sandy Bay, Dino Island, Mars, Artic and Xalax, the ultimate racing planet! You start out on Sandy Bay, a lively and cheerful island. You just wish you could leap right into that Lego world. Then, later, you travel to exciting Dino Island, where there are T-rexs, Stegosauruses, Triceratops and Pteronodons running around. Then you go to Mars, a bizzare world where you can talk to aliens. Next is the Artic, which is a world so cool, it's frozen(really!). And last, but not least,is Xalax, the most incredible world of all! The only weird thing is Rocket Racer is real easy to beat. But you feel so excited to see millons of Lego guys cheering and screaming in huge stands around the tracks. All these worlds have fitting music. It's just such an awesome game. When you play the game as long as I have, you start to get really good at it and you make up your own unique tricks.Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Entertaining and challenging.
My 4year old loved this game right away and so far she has only completed level one.(kept her interested for hours)Lots of variety.Style of the game is similar to "Freddi Fish and the stollen conch shell."

4-0 out of 5 stars Solid education and fun but lacking Pizazz
My four-year-old daughter likes this program but it is not one of her favorites.I'm at a loss as to how I should criticize it because it seems to be missing a polished edge quality that is hard to explain. It's as if it is trying to be cool but... The activities are educational, the graphics are captivating, and usually "space" is an exciting backdrop for an adventure.I think, however, that it's missing some punch which would allow me to give it five stars. It is certainly worth playing if your child needs many choices of computer games like my girl does.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Real Treat
The back story is always grounded in a real disastrous event in Katherine Diane Cadell's life. Quicker than you can say, "Oh, no!" her imagination creates a related adventure with the Star Flyers and her as Katie Cadet - leader of the pack. And the pack includes AJwho has special powers for each mission, Io, a fire breathing dog and Klanker, a very strong robot.Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Jumpstart Advanced 4th Grade Problem
Normally this is a great product. I have purchased K-3 without any problems but this year there is a problem that requires a patch. Calling their helpdesk is somewhat useless since they promise to send you a link but never do. Here is the link I found on my own: [...]. The problem that I experienced was a white screen then if you click a key there is an introduction that has a lady speaking about the cave's history. Then it freezes. This link should solve you problem. Just download and run.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great math game!
I bought this for my 8 year old daughter, whose weakest subject is math. She LOVES this game and will literally play it for hours. It consists of all kinds of different math games that you can play at three different levels of difficulty.I am just VERY pleased with this game.Suddenly math is FUN for my daughter!

4-0 out of 5 stars Really Educational and Really Fun
My six-year-old daughter, who just started first grade, was completely engaged playing this game. It has a nice layout to explore, lots of activities, and it adapts to a range of skill levels. It was challenging enough to be interesting but not too hard to "win" and save the day for the city.I would give it five stars if only the arcade games were playable -- they were much too hard for my daughter. But she didn't seem to mind, since she really enjoyed everything else.

3-0 out of 5 stars It's Just "Okay"
There are not many good options in software for children, so that this at least rates as okay is something. It is educational for sure and definitely teaches math and grouping of sets for faster counting, money values, etc. But it could be more appealing for a 5-year old boy.

5-0 out of 5 stars OOOOOOOOOHWOOOOOOOOOW
And I really mean woooooooow.I absolutley love the My Scene girls and what is better than to see them in action!?Well nothing.I was very excited for the movie, and the game just made things a lot better. There are soooooo many cool things you can do.Finish off unfinished scripts by filling in empty spaces. You can pick your theme too, from being a spy,to going in space,to a sunny beach. There are some mini games, like guide a golf cart through out the studio to help Barbie deliver lunches. You can give the girls a head to toe makeover.Give them a completely different face feature by putting make up and change their hair etc.You can also dress two of the gils and get them ready. My computer is Windows XP,and the only flaw to this game is that it only works for Windows XP(as much as I've read).Prove me wrong, but other than that, this game is perfect.I got it the moment it got out and I'm still playing it and it hasn't gone boring.I say buy it.Oh and did I mention, there are short movies in between the levels(I don't know how to call them),and the graphics are sooooooooooooo good that you just want to watch it over and over agin.

5-0 out of 5 stars Shut up

5-0 out of 5 stars YES,FINNALY
Yes finnaly, the first My Scene computer game. And can you belive it,I still don't have it,but I'm sooooooo getting it in two weeks.Despite the fact that I don't have the game,I still know a lot about it,I just haven't played it.I've read a lot about it and I've seen many screen shots, and the graphics are perfect. The game it self is sooooo cool. You give the girls makeovers, you play minigames in wich you help the My Scene friends fullfill duties(for ex.help Barbie deliver lunches around the studio by guiding a golf cart). You dress the gang from head to toe and finish unfinished scripts by filling in empty spaces. You als set up your own scenes and you get to shoot your own movie. This game is veeery cool and on top of all that,it's very educational because you learn how movies are made.I SAY buy it. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars For ALL ages! BEST WAY TO LEARN SPANISH IMHO
When I tried this program out, I at first had some trouble running it. But Then I went to the website at: www.kutoka.com and click on the support tab and then select EasySpeak Spanish. They give you a link for the version of Flash 8 you need to run. After this everything worked well.
1-0 out of 5 stars I sent mine back to Amazon
The software requires a "patch"...not a big deal.
4-0 out of 5 stars For Mature Audiences!
I've been using EazySpeak Spanish for about a week now and find it HIGHLY enjoyable and amusing. I do, however, have to agree with other reviews in that it is not for children. I was a little surprised at the semi-nudity of the characters and how, in one exercise, one bikini-clad female had semi-circles in her chest region to suggest nipples. Also, elsewhere in the program, one is introduced to the Spanish words for beer, rum, brandy, cigarettes, and various types of wine. All of these topics should be off-limits to a 12 year-old, which, the box claims, EazySpeak is suitable for.

3-0 out of 5 stars I like Pajama Sam
It was a bit scary when you get into Darkness'room. The two door guards were nice and it was a very nice game my mother and I played. -child age 6
5-0 out of 5 stars This game is fun even for adults!
I love playing this game with my 4 1/2 year old. It is a challenge even for me, we both have to think about things a lot and figure out what to do. Each time you play it has different tasks and challenges. There are many layers to this game and it takes a lot of steps, done in the right order, to "win"...Darkness surprised my son in that he was thinking he would be scared and was not since Darkness was just his shadow. Fun!! I highly recommend this game for a 4-5 year old. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Very Fun Game!
This game is very fun!I remember playing the original Oregon Trail game and it was fun as well but when Oregon Trail 2 came out, I had to have it!I could easily play this game for hours! It is pretty cool because the graphics are way better than what the original game was and there is way more products that you can purchase for your trip. Also, I love the way that they show a video of someone talking to you or when you go to a major point on your trip it'll show a video talking about that as well. This game is truly awesome and should be compatible with any computer built in the past 5 years.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun and Educational Game
While I've only played Oregon Trail 1, 2, and 4 in my youth, I can easily say 2 was the best of the series. Oregon Trail puts the player in the 1800's during times when people hoped for a more properous life out West. The history of Oregon Trail is very interesting and this game does a good job of showcasing many elements of that era into the game.
1-0 out of 5 stars so dissappointing
danm it suck . after reading tons of review from amazon i thought buying this oregon trail 2 game would be a lot of fun . well i just play it and it suck . if you played the classic. there are feature like fishing. resting , talking to people. trading with them you can chose the items you want. this version 2 don't like you do any of it. no fishing, and funny thing is they sell fishing pole what is the pole of it , if the game don't let you fish. they have more towns and store. one point the classing lack, still , no gathering vegetable and fruit in this version two, the computer automatically do it for you . if the classic is 100 points , this is like 30 points. and it version too. ohh please. i too upset right now with this software maker, it like those guy got lazy or lazier . ... 4-0 out of 5 stars GREAT!!! Still needs work though.
Everything seems fine and fun with this game. I like the way they put an all-star game in season mode. From the beginning of the season, the computer votes on how your or other players are doing in there positions. Whatever player has the most votes in their positions by the all-star game plays in it. And the fun apart about it you get to COACH an all-star team!! It's pretty cool. The only problem I have with this game is it is TOO easy!!! On hard mode it is possible you can win 30-0 in a HOCKEY GAME!!! But you should get this game. GO BLUES!!!!!!!

2-0 out of 5 stars i really believe someone somewhere can do better
I know, I'm an adult- don't even have kids so what am I doing with this game? Well, I'm interested in games, have not been entirely satisfied with the ea sports games I've tried and heard good things about this series, so when I ran across a cheap 2005 hockey I thought I'd try it out. I found it disappointing enough that I probably would not try another backyard game and would not really recommend this to anyone be they 6 or 600.
4-0 out of 5 stars Great fun on the ice.
I almost didn't buy this one because of the awful box art (what happened Humongus?) but my kids love the other Backyard titles and this one is no exception. My son and even my daughter enjoy playing it. Their favorite is making up their own players for their teams. The game play and characters are delightful. The controlls are easy to learn, my daughter had never played a hockey game before. I highly recommend picking this one up, well worth the $20. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The Dogs Will Lead the Way
Hounded by a pack of shadowy dogs, a dreamy summer cabin at Moon Lake becomes a nightmare for Nancy Drew! The lake's residents tell tales about a notorious gangster who lived there long ago with his beloved pets. Are the dogs still protecting his secrets? They're getting closer; should Nancy run for her life or risk their bared fangs in her search for the truth? Once a hideout for a notorious gangster, this lakeside cabin may hold clues to his villainious past. There is nothing modern about Moon Lake. Rely on old-fashioned sleuthing skills to solve its mysteries. Listen closely in the forests and fields as you sniff out clues. You may hear the answer in a bird's distant call. Hidden deep below the sunnny skies and crystal-clear lake are dark caverns where secrets are safe from prying eyes. Folks living around Moon Lake seem friendly, but someone's hiding a secret behind that down-home hospitality. P.S If you need help with this game, please post a review titled "Dear Nancy," I will try to respond as soon as possible but please be patient and check every day. I can't give you any direct answers as it would spoil it for other people. I hope to hear from you soon!:)

5-0 out of 5 stars Arf!5 billion stars!
One of my two tied favorite Nancy Drew games, this is a game for everyone. You, as Nancy, are visiting a friend, when two things happen- a tree falls behind your car, meaning you can't leave, and the friend insn't home. She calls from her car, but breaks up, leaving you to wonder just what she meant by Malone's dogs...
5-0 out of 5 stars One of the Best!!
This Nancy Drew game is one of the best software that HerInteractive has made! The puzzles are not too hard, but challenging enough to be fun. The setting is fun and the characters are never boring to watch. I am ten years old, but that doesn't mean that adults or other younger children can't play this game. My friend's sister is five years old, my brother is nine years old and they both play this game. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Rapunzel
This is such a great game both my 3 year old son and 7 year old daughter love it. I like to play to if they would let me! So much fun decorating the rooms and so many choices to keep you playing Great game. Not at all what you would think a Barbie game would be. Great fun for all!!

4-0 out of 5 stars Thanks Barbie!!
I purchased this for my daughter that had just turned 5 and with a little help from me in the maze area she was able to finish the game rather quickly (hence the 4 stars instead of 5) but to my surprise she still wants to play it over and over again redecorating the castle differently each time room, by room. She has figured out the maze area on her own now as well, at first naviagating Barbie is a little difficult, but all in all as a rainy day game she loves it!Sometimes I have to set the timer to get her off the computer. Not a lot in the way of learning, but that is what her "Reader Rabbit" CD-Rom's are for anyway - this one is for fun! Additionally I didnot have any technical problems setting up this CD for my daughter, and I have had with many others including her Reader Rabbit, and Disneys.

5-0 out of 5 stars I love playing it - even without my five year old daughter
When my daughter wanted this I was against it. We have Barbie Swan Lake software and it does very little and I was not impressed. After seeing it many times on her "wish list" I warned her that it would most likely be boring. Boy was I wrong! We have spent many rainy day hours decorating rooms and having such fun. You can do so much and make it so different each time. We decide on colors and themes of rooms and go to town. I gave her a big hug and kiss for being so persistant about getting this software. I highly recommend it! ... Read more

Private Moon Studios is a team of seven Hungarian developers who have done a remarkable job of building a very professional game. Agon is a far cut above what one might expect from such a small group. The environments are beautifully rendered, with an attention to detail. The voice-overs are professionally done, with original music and a host of ambient sounds. (Just Adventure)

5-0 out of 5 stars Learning French Can Be Fun
My daughters needed to begin learning French quickly because it is a part of the curriculum at their new school. This CD has made the learning process fun for them and me.We all use it and enjoy the activities on it.The girls will play Doki voluntarily when they have free time and love the graphics and occasional silliness of the characters.I bought two different learn to speak French CDs and they have a strong preference for this one.

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect for whole family!
This product totally surpassed my expectations. Originally bought as a gift for my daughter, I ended up using for myself for trips to Montreal and France with my husband. This product is perfect for anyone who wants to learn a language fast. To learn the basics to converse in restaurants, banks, airports, hotels, shopping without sounding like a fool.It didn't waste my time with grammar or things I wouldn't need.It was fun as it uses humourous cartoon characters who at first seemed childish, but then I realized it made for a non-intimidating environment for someone who couldn't remember more than bonjour from high school. As for my daughter, it provided her with much needed comprehension pratise that's not emphasized at schools as much anymore.Very happy with purchase and well worth my money, ... 4-0 out of 5 stars GREAT!
We bought this for our 3 year old, and she was able the pick up on it very quickly! It has helped prepare her for preschool tremendously! We are going to get her the Kindergarten one for Christmas this year.

1-0 out of 5 stars This is a total waste
For Christmas, I purchased this item for my two and half year old son, who is fairly advanced for his age. The program is reccomended for 2-4.I was totally disappointed in this product. Before you begin to use the product, the child is given an assessment test, which was fairly good. However, it gave you the illusion that the program would be like that, when it is not.Your child is scored and based on the score, the questions are supposed to be geared toward the skills that the child does not know or needs improvement on.First of all the programs were difficult to understand for most adults (my husband and I are both college educated). Both my husband and myself sat down with my son and could not figure out the concept of the games. My son was easily bored with the product and seemed disinterested. He seemed to prefer some of his other computer software, (School Zone(preschool) and Disney for Toddlers.I would tell anyone to invest their money in another software. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Fun game to play
I bought the Puppy Luv game for my 7 1/2 year old daughter and she absolutely loves it. She plays it every day. We don't have animals, so this gives her a little experience with what it is like to have a dog.

1-0 out of 5 stars dont get it!
let me put it to you in two words, very boring! i played this game on a demo on the internet and was i glad i didnt purchase it , all you do is feed the dogand throw toys to it and when you call it you have to click on call and a recognition voice says" come here girl" and that is all it says all i kept thinking the whole time was is this all it is ?it was so boring that i just opted myself out of the game . if you wanna try it out play the demo first ,other wise youll waste your money.

4-0 out of 5 stars Very fun

2-0 out of 5 stars disappointing
My 4 year old son has been playing computer games for about 6 months and does really well at navigating the mouse and listening for instructions.I sit with him until I know he knows how to play.I can't leave him with this one.You have to search to find where you want to go and the information I think it gives on the dinosaurs is either below or above his level. He knows alot about dinosaurs and this doesn't expand on anything.I think maybe if it were a little more realistic...and the game gets stuck and acts slowly.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great lessons on the ocean
This piece is great for kids. You should also consider the adventures of Captain -- Captain Jon's Island Adventure and Captain Jon Explores the Ocean.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great game if you want to learn about marine biology!!
This is such a cool game! The Magic School Bus games are all quite good.I really like how you can visit many different ocean zones so you can see that not all parts of the ocean are alike. It is unique that you can "perform" your own science experiments on the same program that you can play fun games on.I like the game with the crab. :)

5-0 out of 5 stars Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?
This is a good game that will teach children about world geography but younger children may get frustrated with this game.It is really geared toward pre-teens and you have to listen closely to the clues in order to determine where is the world is Carmen. This game will work with Windows XP Home Edition but you have to run it in compatibility mode.

4-0 out of 5 stars Warning: Its not an easy game.
This game is a little frustrating for any child who cannot yet associate a continent with the following clues: kroner, Ho Chi Minh trail, outback, Sahara. I had to help out more than either of us would have liked. On the other hand, it's fun, so she is motivated to try. And she is learning a lot!

5-0 out of 5 stars Carmen has made my child a geography whiz!
I have a 10 year old daughter who I have seen spend, literally, multiple hours on our PC engaged in what I call "virtual globe- trotting" in an effort to find Carmen and her partners in crime.Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars So slow.
This software was so slow to load on my Dell laptop that my son never even tried to play this game.I love the game (from previous versions) but this version was pretty much unplayable.
