5-0 out of 5 stars Loved by all
My older grandchildren love this game.Jacqueline is 6 and Andrew is 5.They can play for hours at a time.It teaches them to think of the things they will need to get to the end. They are very good at it, and I think it teaches them to stick with something until the end.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good game
This is a good game but it took a long time to finish the first game and even longer to solve the one where the lunchbox was in the water and I'm dissapionted it wasn't rusty even though PJ Sam said it was metal. He even brought up that it could rust! It took me a long time to figure out how to get the oars down and I couldn't find a magnet or the other dumbwiater(But I know where they are now!)and I don't get why he's not allowed to get in the dumbwaiter in the kichen but that only cuts off one star. I really love when the flashlight is in the mine because it's got so many steps to do before you can get it but once I saved the game right before I put the gear in, and then put it in, but then when I loaded the game the gear was different, which is anoying because it's best if your able to stay in the mine untill you have the flashlight. Sincerly, Russian Blue Witch.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fabulous! Stupendous! Awesome!
OMG! This game is like, the best! The graphics were great, and the personalities of the people were great too! Almost everyone seemed like a suspect, and more than one person was the culprit. Being herinteractive's second game, this is great!
5-0 out of 5 stars Nancy Drew and the Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake
I thought that this game was totally awesome! I really enjoyed it! I played it in 4 days, and it usually takes me much longer! It wasn't too hard, but hard enough. It's not as scary as some of the Nancy Drew games. There are four charactors: Sally McDonald (the lady who asked you to come there), Red Knott (a birdwatcher), Emily Griffen (a lady who owns a store), and Jeff Akers (the closest thing to a police officer that the town has). You never meet Sally, but you meet the other three. Oh, yes. I forgot you meet the ghost dogs...

2-0 out of 5 stars BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really didn't like this game at ALL! The mystery about somone dead was good and all, and I know it's Herinteractive's first game, but come on! Cartoon characters?! Plus, it was easy and short, and not hard at all. If I were you, I would NOT buy this at all, NAH-AH! I hope this review helped! =) ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Loads of fun but over to quickly!
My son loves Scooby Doo so of course this was the perfect choice for his first Computer game. He is only 4 and just learning how to use a Computer so I had to help him.
1-0 out of 5 stars Doesn't run when Nero is installed.
I can't get this program to run with Nero installed, I just get an errorbox about a debugger. The game runs fine when Nero is uninstalled, but after re-installing Nero it refuses again.

I received this gift for Christmas, and was very dissapointed. The Scary Stone Dragon has a great plot, but I solved it in 30 mins. I have two other ones that I've played for days, and I still can't solve them! Do not, I repeat do not, get this game. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars disneymagic artist
our3 year daughter loves this game.there is a varity of themes to choose from.very cool characters to draw ,paint, scribble you name it. i like the dancing animals at the circus the best.very nice game and will keep the kids occupied for awhile.

4-0 out of 5 stars kids loved it
Just the thrill of seeing Disney characters made this program compelling to a 5 and 7 year old. They both loved the spray can and tried the different shapes. It was a good time killer and at least the kids weren't shooting anyone.I have to also say that the kids kept laughing as they were amused at the pictures they were making.

5-0 out of 5 stars FANTASTIC PRODUCT!!!
Incredibly comprehensive, imaginative and captivating "drawing" program for kids of all ages.

3-0 out of 5 stars A good FIRST computer game
My daughter is 3 1/2 and loves Dora. But this game is WAY too simple for her. There just aren't enough things to do, and even the higher levels don't really challenge compared to her two other games: Care Bears and Blue's Clues. If you have a two-year-old or a child who's never played on a computer, this is great at teaching basic color, shape & number recognition and how to use a mouse & click. A better choice for a 3 - 4 year old is Blue's ABC Time Activities.

5-0 out of 5 stars Backpacks Aweigh!!
Our two year old LOVES this video game!I like the educational part where she is learning/relearning her shapes, colors, and numbers.I also like the higher levels that use patterns. The game is engaging and keeps my daughter's attention throughout.I strongly reccommend it.

1-0 out of 5 stars Tedious game-play with little emphasis on learning
The problem with this game starts with the introductury movie... it develops slowly, goes on forever, suffers from disconnected animation and does little to set up the ridiculous premise for game play.
2-0 out of 5 stars Really disappointed
I guess I'm spoiled by the I Spy games I've purchased for my children. This game has an enormous amount of "story"...it's almost as bad as sitting your child in front of the television. Interaction is confusing and frustrating. I'd rate this lower but it's clear that a lot of work went into the animation, which is top notch. I just wouldn't classify this as a learning game.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun Game But Requres Good Hand Coordination
I purchased this game for my 3 year old who already reads a little and knows her numbers well. I hoped this game would help her learn addition. She loves to play it, but several of the games require hand coordination beyond her ability (the hand cart one in particular, as noted by another reviewer), and catching bubbles. It was frustrating to me because she knew the proper answer but could not "execute" because her movements were too slow. Over time, she has improved enough to play most of the games on level one. The game is very engaging ang the graphics well-done, but the educational part is under-emphasized. The game that "teaches" addition involves frogs jumping to lily-pads and my daughter is so focused on the frogs that the addition lesson is hardly noticed. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Technical difficulties
If you have an Nvidia graphics card don't get this game. There is something about the drivers that doesn't allow it to play. I spent hours trying the tech support offered on the website and installing older drivers, as suggested by another website, neither of which worked. I popped it into my mom's Compaq computer and it works perfectly. It's a fun game if you aren't comparing it to games nowadays. Very nostalgic.

4-0 out of 5 stars Worth the money
We had the original version of this game, and it was one of my kids' favorites. We upgraded to get a copy that runs under Windows XP. My kids also love this version of the game. There are more options for play than in the original version of the game, and everything seems to work well. I feel it was well worth the purchase price.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun for everyone involved
I was very happy with this game- it took the bets parts of the previous Oregon Trail incarnations and wove them together for a good overall product.I can appreciate a company which recognizes both the weaknesses and the strengths of their products and uses this information to get better. In this Oregon Trail you can once again chose how many you will travel with and name them (for some crazy reason this feature was eliminated in the 4th Oregon Trail edition), but you can also CHOOSE the times you stop to collect wild fruit or fish, instead of these circumstances just happening randomly (which does not make as much sense). To me, these were the biggest changes to previous games, but they were improvements.

5-0 out of 5 stars Preschool Computer Lab Teacher = Thumbs Up!
I have taught computer lab to preschool children for two years and have used this program both years with much success. It is a great game for my older 3 year old students and my 4-5 year old students. The boys love the rocketship shooting shapes game, and everyone thinks the pie fight is funny. The puzzle game is also popular.
5-0 out of 5 stars curious george ..laughing while learning!!
I bought this and my 2 1/2 and 3 1/2 boys they love it!!! the puzzles are great, star shooting gameof shapes is great for hand eye coordination and the pie game is awesome they are learing letters, matching, size differentation, all the while laughing!

3-0 out of 5 stars Buggy
I bought this because my son liked another Curious George game, Downtown Adventure (which I highly recommend but the age range should be 4-8, not 3-6).This game is from a different company and is of very poor quality. The pie fight game crashes in the middle every single time we play, on two different computers. The jukebox game is incredibly slow to load, way too slow for a 3 year old to tolerate. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Simple animations provides alot of excitement for the little ones!
Both my kids enjoys this CD-ROM. Green eggs and ham may not be your idea of a tasty treat, but this CD-ROM serves up an appetizing Seuss in a well-done interactive storybook. This delightful software from Living Books is meticulously animated with hundreds of sketches, new scenes, surprises, and activities. Your child directs the action with just a click of the mouse. And littler ones can choose the Read-to-Me mode! Children will build important skills while playing games such as Mouse in a House, the Wacky Food Concentration Game, and the Silly Rhyming Sentence Machine.
5-0 out of 5 stars wow, what fun
I can only say that our 4 and 2 year olds love hearing the story of green eggs and ham. being able to play along makes this so much fun for them! they love it!definately worth the money, in fact i have ordered more similar items so they can try them.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Tool For Catching Up On Your Reacing
I think I like this software more than our 4 year old likes it. I guess that's because it's allowing me to catch up on my reading and watch some of my favorite DVDs. Trust me, once you put this CD-Rom in the computer, your child will stay busy for hours. He or she will be quiet as a church mouse. I also like the fact that our 4 year old also found this CD-Rom very child-friendly. When I attempted to help her she quickly let me know that she did not need any help ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Fun
I was surprised at how much I liked this game! I got it for very cheap and it turned out to be one of the most enjoyable adventure games I've played. I think the difficulty level is just right--not too hard, not too easy. It moved along quickly, but was also challenging. Great graphics, a very elaborate and large haunted house to explore. The cellar sequence is very, very difficult, but also really fun.
4-0 out of 5 stars Fun but very hard
The Mystery of the Mummy was lots of fun but incredibly hard. Lots of the puzzles were so difficult we had to look online for a walkthrough to get us past them. One of the puzzles was a Chinese tile puzzle, also known as gridders and a bunch of other stuff. We were timed on this puzzle, but there was no way you could do it in that amount of time, unless you were a wiz at it. We had to copy the game down on a peice of paper and do it by hand to even think about doing it. But besides that the game was very enjoyable, and it was fun to see Sherlock Holmes confront the criminal in the end. Even though the clip was a little long , it helped you understand the way the case ended. We rate it four stars instead of five because it was difficult to understand at many times what you were supposed to be doing. If you found this game to hard to do, try the Nancy Drew games. The are also mysteries, but a lot more things are explained and you also kind of know what you are doing. I am 12, and my sister is 2 years younger then me, and working together we figured it out. It was lots of fun, and I definatly reccomend it.

1-0 out of 5 stars Doesn't work with XP
