5-0 out of 5 stars Make A DASH for "Dinner Dash"
I rarely buy PC games, but this one is clever and fun. I thoroughly enjoyed playing the demo several times so I decided to purchase it. Yes, this is a game that you can play for hours and hours. Every so many years they come up with a game that captures the imagination. I remember being blown away by "Roller Coaster Tycoon." But games like "Dinner Dash," "Cake Mania," and "Luxor" are bringing the fun back. I like the fact that a lot of these games have different skill levels or goals that you have to reach. It's challenging. I'm an adult and I'm finding myself addicted to PC games again. It's hard to beat arcade classics like "Pac-Man" and "Centipede," but the current crop of PC games seems to be headed in the right direction.

5-0 out of 5 stars Hours of entertaining play
The older I get, the more I appreciate what are called "casual games" - simple objectives, like Tetris are more my speed. I grew up playing Asteroids, Centipede, Root Beer Tapper & Frogger... in many ways, this game is a combination of all of those. The main character of the game tells her boss to shove it (in a nice way, of course) and starts her own restaurant. She has a variety of customers... college kids, senior citizens, businessmen & women - and all have different levels of patience, tipping and fuses.

This is a great game. It's ery addictive, and doesn't get boring. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Enjoyable even with Technical Glitches
Each of the games reaches a point where, in the words of one of the game's programmers, "poor coding kicks in." Rather than go through each of the points in the games where bugs surface, I'll simply suggest potential buyers go to EA Games' website and flip through the 4 pages of the technical support issues with the Harry Potter games on PC. If you still want to buy the set, then beware:at some point, there you or your kid will be, having a ball, and just about to -- [hey, what the..., why did the screen go black?!]. Caveat emptor.

5-0 out of 5 stars A lot of fun!!!
I am currently playing the sorcerers stone. It is very fun. I like all of the puzzles. One thing that I don't like is that there is no freedom to wander around the castle. It is still very fun though.

5-0 out of 5 stars my kid who HATES math LOVES this game
This is the BEST educational software I have purchased. I have to PRY my kid away from it. She has learned SO MUCH without even knowing that she was learning math. They disguise learning very well. You won't be disappointed. This is a keeper!

5-0 out of 5 stars THIS RULES !
I frist played this game in school and i had so much fun so i asked my mom for it and thats what i got. my favorit part was buying the arcade that is so cool. also the hardest one was when you'r at the peir the guy with lopster is the one. i recomend this game to any one. even aldults!

4-0 out of 5 stars Great software
I bought this for my 8-year-old to spend more time practicing math. My son likes math and he likes playing this software. He asks to play it rather than needing to be prodded, as he was with the Math & Science Excelerator I bought for the same purpose. Even the neighborhood kids come to play it with him. I would also recommend it for kids having trouble with math as it puts the concepts into visual perspective, rather than just repeating equations. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Game!!!
I love this game my 7 year old son just beat this game and he is so happy! The puzzles are hard enough to make kids really think, but it isn't too complicated.

5-0 out of 5 stars Another excellent episode
My daughter and I have loved every Spy Fox game (in fact, every Humongous game), and this one is no exception. Now that it has dropped into the bargain bin price point, there is no reason not to buy it.James Bond-type jokes and spy action, with a completely kid-friendly feel. The box says ages 5 to 8, and that's right - a five-year-old might need you there beside them (which I promise you will enjoy), while a seven or eight-year-old can do it all themselves. They might need you to explain some of the jokes, though. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Great math game!
I bought this for my 8 year old daughter, whose weakest subject is math. She LOVES this game and will literally play it for hours. It consists of all kinds of different math games that you can play at three different levels of difficulty.I am just VERY pleased with this game.Suddenly math is FUN for my daughter!

4-0 out of 5 stars Really Educational and Really Fun
My six-year-old daughter, who just started first grade, was completely engaged playing this game. It has a nice layout to explore, lots of activities, and it adapts to a range of skill levels. It was challenging enough to be interesting but not too hard to "win" and save the day for the city.I would give it five stars if only the arcade games were playable -- they were much too hard for my daughter. But she didn't seem to mind, since she really enjoyed everything else.

3-0 out of 5 stars It's Just "Okay"
There are not many good options in software for children, so that this at least rates as okay is something. It is educational for sure and definitely teaches math and grouping of sets for faster counting, money values, etc. But it could be more appealing for a 5-year old boy.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great but not the best Freddi Fish
This game is more difficult for kids then the previous Freddi Fish toward the end, and you also miss out on the solving fun of "find the clues, and match what you've found to a fish" That Freddi has done is the first 4 adventures. Although it had changed in the mystery solving at the end, this game was still a wonderful creation, and kids WILL love it. Just make sure you are there with them to make the game REALLY memerable for your child.

5-0 out of 5 stars Super Fun
This is a great game.My son and I have a blast playing it, and he's played it over and over again by himself as well. The game teaches a lot of deductive thinking, the story and characters are interesting. It is a very wholesome computer game for kids, plus teaches very good reasoning and thinking skills.

5-0 out of 5 stars i havn not had so much fun
this is a very fun game. it has allot of hard/easy games. i dont mean easy as in boring i mean easy as fun. example: dress up spongebob. and hard is like you gotta try and try. it also has trivia. the replay is so fun its 5/5. it has 5 chapters in 5 diffrent places. (your choice on were to go) oh and in each chapter there is 6 games. WOW!!! fun fun fun. you can be all the characters as in squidward, patrick, plankton, spongebob, and sandy. its worth every penny. hope you get it and i hope you dont listen to the bad reviews because you have NO installing problems and its not ONLY for children, teens and adults enjoy it too. i got it a year ago and i still love it. see ya!

1-0 out of 5 stars Why do the publishers treat PC users this way?
If you shop around for this game, you'll notice that there is a PC, PS2 and XBOX version - the boxes are almost identical. The XBOX and PS2 versions are actual 3-D adventures where you get to control the various characters of Bikini Bottom with some mini-games added-in.The console versions of the game are pretty good. The PC version IS NOT!It is basically a series of mind-numbing mini-games and 2-D platforming that tends to frustrate the kids more than anything else.My kids got tired of getting stuck and gave up.
5-0 out of 5 stars a great game!!

i wrote a review for the other finding nemo game and i gave it 1 star! i dont know what i was thinking to buy this game because the last one was boring and way too easy. this one is no diffrent. it still sucks times 10. but i have to say the graphics are great!A+. BUT the game is still bad and as always i knew my brother would like it! he didnt and his 5. he said "this game is way too easy and boring. i dont want it."then he pretented to throw up. my mom didnt like it either. my friends thought they were too old for it because were 10 and my dad said why we bought this junk. so right now its sitting on the shelf dusty. we now have 20 dollars down the drain. stupid nemo and this company, they cant even invent a game that us 10-13 year olds can play.

1-0 out of 5 stars Not your typical Humongous game
We just fired this disc up yesterday and I must say I'm surprised. We really love (and own) just about every Humungous kids game they have created and they're all great. They're all constructed in the same way:there's a bunch of things one must collect in order to accomplish a particular task, and a child must use their curiousity and memory to work through the puzzles.

As an Elementary Special Education Teacher I found this software to be invaluable for students with or without special needs. The kids love it!I use it both at school and at home with nieces and nephews. Also great for eye/hand coordination, reasoning, quick thinking and memory.

5-0 out of 5 stars It is wonderful!
My youngest who is an ADHD kid will beg to get on M&M's to pratice her math, and she will get on it for hours. Since she has been on the game, her basic math skill got huge improvement. Plus, if she didn't finish her chores, she doesn't get to go on it, therefore, she will get them done. It was working fantasticly for us, I never have to worry about her not practicing her math skill. Try it, it is wonderful!

5-0 out of 5 stars The Lion King Classic Collection
I recently bought a copy of this collection and noticed that the box said The Lion King II Gamebreak at the bottom but, It was only the Timon and Pumbaa's Jungle game included, I was a little dissapointed but, oh well. The three games were pretty fun, especially the Timon and Pumbaa's Jungle Games. It relieved a little stress after a long day; maybe it was the music? I thought the The Lion King II Active play was a little childish but I still liked the activities as it was a little bit challenging, not really but, kind of. I would say the most educating game of the trio was th Adventures in typing with Timon and Pumbaa, as it also taught proper typing postures and other miscellaneous but, important skills (I think I need brush up on my typing skills). I think this collection is great for the whole family because the different games are for different age levels and it also was fun for me, so... I think it was a great buy and very worthwhile; it includes three games, where could you find another deal like that! Long Live The Lion King! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Very entertaining
We bought this game for our 4 1/2 year old boy. He loves it! You can design your own monster trucks and race them down a track and do freestyle as well (jumps over cars and airplanes). You pick up bonus points as you race so you can get new decals for your trucks. It's simple to play since you use the arrow keys to move left, right front and backwards. The only thing is that we have xp and it freezes up when you create your own track - but since there are tracks already made for you, we just bypass the 'makeing your own track' option

5-0 out of 5 stars LOADS of fun!
My son got this 2 1/2 months ago for his birthday and he LOVES it so much!He hasn't lost interest and plays it constantly! He loves the Tonka series and it was a great addition to our collection.

Santa brought my 4yo this program for Christmas. It installed easily on Win98 and ran first time. I installed the whole disk to the hard drive hoping to improve performance. He loves Hot Wheels, so this was the game to have for him.At 2 and half I didn't think he was ready to play this game. However one day I sat down and started playing it just to see what it was like.My hand got slapped and he took over.He has been playing it up until just resent when the cd was scratched real bad....

4-0 out of 5 stars Fabulous, but...
This game could not be more fun for the whole family. It can be played by the very young with a sense of accomplishment, but can also be challenging for those looking for more. You can earn new cars, choose cars based on performance etc..The one gripe that I have with this game is that the program appears to have some glitches,as every computer, both new and old, that I play it on seems to freeze or have synch problems. For the price it is likely worth the try, the fun will probably outweigh the minor frustration. ... Only on a Disney-designed racetrack would collecting Lucky Fairies and launching acorns lead players to the trophy. This whimsical, Windows-only racing game is set in Disney World, where Chip n' Dale manage to drop some of those darned acorns into the Fireworks Machine, causing it to explode and scatter bits of itself all over the park. The two decide to race around the park to find the machine parts before night falls and the fireworks show must begin. Every track represents an attraction at Disney World, and winning on each track allows players to advance and yields an all-important Fireworks Machine part for the rebuilding project.Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars This is my favorite game!
Well, this game is awesome! Its like being on the rides! Disney World is the best! I love it. I have the Magical Racing Tour for Gameboy Color and Playstation 1. There are so many features. They look just like the rides! This game is great. I definately recommend this game for everyone!

2-0 out of 5 stars Too hard to steer!
If you don't have a steering wheel attached to your computer you might want to think twice about getting this game.It is way too hard to steer it.I've played any number of driving games in the past and have never had any trouble steering with the keyboard... but this game is just poorly set up.The controls are not even remotely intuitive.I was hoping that I could get my 6 year old playing this game before we went to DisneyWorld... didn't happen.5-0 out of 5 stars I LOVE WALT DISNEY WORLD
Ever since i was young i always dreamed of going to Walt Disney World, but no that i live in florida i go there every chance i get!But the days i cant go i just play this game, its like being on the rides themselves! Not to easy for you to beat in a day,but not to hard for younger players! Its really a game for all ages!I LOVE Walt Disney World! ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Loads of fun but over to quickly!
My son loves Scooby Doo so of course this was the perfect choice for his first Computer game. He is only 4 and just learning how to use a Computer so I had to help him.
1-0 out of 5 stars Doesn't run when Nero is installed.
I can't get this program to run with Nero installed, I just get an errorbox about a debugger. The game runs fine when Nero is uninstalled, but after re-installing Nero it refuses again.
2-0 out of 5 stars Not too good.
I received this gift for Christmas, and was very dissapointed. The Scary Stone Dragon has a great plot, but I solved it in 30 mins. I have two other ones that I've played for days, and I still can't solve them! Do not, I repeat do not, get this game. ... Read more
