4-0 out of 5 stars Fun, Fun, FUN!!!
I am adding a bit more to my review as I missed some aspects earlier on.
5-0 out of 5 stars BestGame Ever from Spongebob Squarepants
I think it is fun through out the game. You can't pick or play the game until you unlock it. It gets fun at the end in your try outs for a movie part. You can go paintballing, fishing, soccer, and many other cool stuff. It keeps interested and if you beat it quickly you can try another level(silly, middle, and hard). There are lots of games like they have many mini games like in Mario Party. You also have lots of rolls you could get. It says you could have four players, but to have 4 human players you need an adapter. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars A Total Disappointment
Do not buy this game. For ages 7 and younger it is simple and easy to use and would be fine to start off a youngster with horsey computer games, but overall it is repetitive and boring. If you really want a good horse game buy Saddle Up Time to Ride, Saddle Up with Pippa Funnell, All the Let's Ride! games are great, though I thought that the Let's Ride! Corral Club was more childish than the others. A good deal is the Let's Ride! Champions Collection which has 3 horse games. 2 of them being really good: Mary King's Riding Star, and Equestriad 2001.

1-0 out of 5 stars Don't Waste Your Money
This game sucks, don't waste your money.Go buy Saddle Up: Time to Ride or any other LexisNumerique horse riding game.

2-0 out of 5 stars Jump and ride a little behind the times.
Let's face it. Jump and Ride will never be on the same level as other equestrian games such as Equestriad or Let's Ride Rosemond Hill. I don't mean to say it's a bad choice. Five years ago there were no equestrian games save barbie (and this game has an eerie resemblence to the races in barbie). In the 21st century this game is slightly overmatched. The game's addictive but lacks some of the factors found in games in the Let's ride collection. For starters, there are only six horses which differ slightly in characteristics. Play is easy until you move to the normal level. here you have to hit "/" rhythmically (whatever that means) until your arms fall off. in hard you hit "/" and ".", and in pro you hit four keys which is impossible if you've ever tried it. In case you are mistaken, "/" does not make the horse go, it only controls speed. since the computer is perfect then you will most likely lose. Racing against friends is better since you are evenly matched. This is fun for people who value having competition instead of just competing. This gets two stars because I thought I was buying an actual steeplechase, like the Grand National, with a twenty horse field. I also don't like how the horses look and how you can't give them names or change their colors. The graphics are nothing to shake a stick at either. By the way, why are there no unlockable features? ... Read more

i work in a child center at lifetime fitness and this game is on the computer and one day i decided to play this game because we didnt have any kids and i wanted to kill some time after playing it for 5 mins i found myself getting involed. it's so simple but it's so fun. the next day i went and order it online.

It clearly says on line this will work on a Mac OS system. The disk comes and it does not, only Windows .Do Not order this if you have a Mac!!!!!!!

2-0 out of 5 stars Imaginext nearly ruined a good thing
My son LOVES Imaginext building sets.He is 9 years old and his friends love them, too.Even the older siblings of these friends. They make up all kinds of stories. They are using their imaginations instead of playing video games. My son begged for this software and I gave in.Within a few hours I regretted my decision. Why did I let Fisher Price come up with his story lines and adventures when he was doing it on his own? That is what is SO great about Imaginext--finally a toy that will cause even older kids to leave the computer and video games.Luckily, I think he found the software to be boring. He played it one evening and that was it.Money wasted, yes. But, I'm glad he's back to creating on his own.I also regret that Imaginext made a video to go with the toy.Let the kids make up the stories! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Love, love, love it
I work with autistic children and thus far this game has been worth its weight in gold. It's simple enough for the younger children to operate with a bit of demonstration and for a couple of my kids is the only thing I can motivate them with.

4-0 out of 5 stars A good game for little Thomas fans
My son started playing this game when he was about 3 years old and just loves it.He's almost four and he's still playing with it.He's now at the point where he doesn't even need help and manage to play on his own.

1-0 out of 5 stars Crying Nightmare not worth this
Santa brought this game to my 3 year old and let me tell you it sucked. I couldnt get it to work on any of the three computers I have (one of which runs Win 98). He stills cries almost daily to play the game and it has been over two months. I will not buy from Atari again it is not worth the nightmare of watching my Thomas fanatic son cry. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful!! Real learning in a fun environment.
Of all the educational software my girls (currently in kindergarten) have played, this is easily my favorite - and theirs too.Much more engaging than similar titles in the JumpStart and Reader Rabbit series.5-0 out of 5 stars this IS the best ever-- and no wonder why
I got Stuarts Adventures for my three grand daughters and what a success. This game is amazing and like nothing we have ever seen before. There is a scale model of an ancient sailing ship where the children can play, and a scale model of an old steam engine the children ride to a mining town. The adventures are fun for young kids and must have been tested with lots and lots of young children. There is pretty music from different countries, and games with a lot of refreshing variety, cute rewards, and great content. In one game the child learns the letters that begin the names of beautiful children from many cultures. As the game progresses these children whose letters and names are being learned are seen in their own cultures. The game culminates with the child learning famous landmarks on each continent and seeing where these different cultures are located on a world map....an amazing example of the way gifted kindergarten teachers can teach language in a cultural context. The highest level rewards are meaningful because as the child moves through the games they accumulate "brain power" that lets them create toys on one CD, and on the other that lets they decode a mystery note so Stuart can follow his aunt Polly on an adventure. Its SO addictive, and the kids learn SO easily and don't get tired of it, that I became curious about who could have created such a masterpiece.I went to the website on the box (and also the interactive manual on the CD)and read all about it. These games were made by a research and development team at a top university. The team was a cognitive psychologist, two developmental psychologists, a linguist, an art teacher, a prize winning composer, an experienced kindergarten teacher, and several computer scientists and graphic artists. This is why the games keep the attention of kids and actually teach them things that coordinate with school. It must be why it all appears so hand crafted and beautiful. This is a really great achievement and I agree with the other review I read here. Its the best value to date -- and its no wonder why!

5-0 out of 5 stars It never ends!A great learning tool, but a game for kids
This is the best value in computer software to date. The games never end and are incredibly educational. But your kid will never know it!The games include board games, dot to dot, matching, tetris-like adding game, crosswords and more.My daughter can't get enough of it.We read the reviews and yes, I'll agree it is advanced for a 3 yr old.My daughter is 4 and recognizes her letter (but doesn't yet know their sounds) and knows numbers by sight up to 10.If your child doesnt know their numbers or letters you'll have to play with them. But isn't that fun, too?! Really, this is a great game. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Runs very well on Mac meeting the specs
First 3 episodes of a truely atmospheric adventure game; clearly a labor of love for the developers who have talents to equal much bigger production teams. I am glad they brought out a CD version and support the Mac platform as well as the PC.

5-0 out of 5 stars Yep, a terrific game!
This too was one of my childhood favorites, along with The Learning Company's, Writing and Publishing Center, and another one who's name alludes me.The one I speak of was where you had to go around collecting clues to figure out which robot was about to do something bad(sorry, my memory on these games is foggy, all I remember is I LOVED them, and I can remember a bit of the gameplay).Anyways, this game taught me many vital skills at a young age, and overall helped my development.I'm 18 now, and I am not shy at all to say that I too would also be reliving my childhood with a replay of this game every now and then.

5-0 out of 5 stars Even for the older kids
This was my favorite game when I was younger. If we still had it on our computer I would play it! I think it teaches reading and maybe a little math too. The best part about it is advancing in levels. As I remember it, you start on the first level of the mountain. You catch elves and and read their clues to find treasures in objects on that level. Once you've gained all of the treasures you move up to the next level of the mountain(by ladder, waterfall,or door?)You do the same for every level of the mountain, until you get to the last level where after you collect all of the treasures, you have to do a little ladder maze to get to the room to put all of the treasures away(in the treasure chest)then, you come back to your collection room(where you keep your treasures you earn from each game)with one treasure. It's fun to get more and more treasures as you play. Watch out though, as the levels advance the elves get more mischievious (they sprinkle you with dust and take your coins) This is a perfect game for any age kid. It's good for the little kids because they learn without realizing it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Long lasting fun
We bought this over 10 years ago and my teens still play it (rarely) to relive their childhood.I keep it on the computer for young guests to amuse themselves safely--it is easy to learn and even only a few minutes is satisfying, then they can start again next time they visit. Highly recommended! ... Read more

this is one of the most enjoyable games in the series. you get to swim underwater, collect gems, watch out for goobies, and catch little starfish with bubbles. the graphics are very brilliant for such an old game and the animals are so cute! this game is addictive for little kids even though it is extremely long.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great game-level 2 reminds me of a portion of Pinocchio
This is a great game. At first I thought goobies were real, but my mom told me they weren't. Level 2 reminded me of the portion of Pinocchio when Pinocchio searches underwater for Monstro the whale. Because the Super Seeker has to go inside a whale to move on to Level 3, I would re-enact the, "underwater" scene of Pinocchio with the game, pretending the purple gem at Sea Star Circus was the oyster with a pearl, pretending the sea stars and goobies were the animals Pinocchio was asking for help, and what not. A great game for those ocean fans!

      Editorial Review

Yay! Elmo is on an adventure in Grouchland, tracking down his best friend--his blanket! It's slipped out of his hands down Oscar's trash can, and he--like Alice following the White Rabbit--has to meet interesting characters and finish several missions in order to be reunited with it.Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Worst Sesame Street title. Get something else.
We have 8 Sesame Street programs most of which are pretty good and a couple of which are excellent. However this is the one title which truly sucks.
5-0 out of 5 stars excellent for 2 year old who is familar with Elmo movie
I purchased this for my 2 year old who is now 2 1/2 yo.He absolutely loves it and became quite proficient at using the mouse.Initially he needed supervision and now he is able to navigate all screens and even choose between levels-easy or hard independently--occassionally with some stand by assistance. He especially loves the game where elmo draws clues on a black board in Elmo's bedroom and Elmo's blanket has to hide.Based on the shape Elmo draws, the child must try and locate where Elmo's blanket is hiding and behind which object in Elmo's room.My son and his dad also play this game in the living room with his real blanket and his dad will draw clues and our son will have to find where blanket is hiding--He loves it.I highly recommend this software and like I said, our little guy started playing this when he turned two and is now a pro.Great for developing visual and auditory memory, shape discrimination, matching, generating creativity, problem solving and mouse proficiency. ...
