4-0 out of 5 stars solid and entertaining for ~5 year olds
My daughter (4 going on 5) has had a lot of fun with this. For the price and relative to a lot of other similar products, I'm happy with the depth and quality. The review suggesting "negative stars" is completely off base - this is game software, and isn't intended to impart deep education. The review giving one star simply because it must be run in admin mode is also short-sighted - knocking the whole product simply because of a common OS incompatibility is silly (I'd say more than half of our children's software suffers from this).

4-0 out of 5 stars daughter now 10 and still loves it
I purchased this originally for my daughter when she was 7.WEll, we moved and lost it.She was devastaded!!I ordered another one for her from X-mas and I was surprised that she still wanted to play with it.I know that the skill level is for much younger children ,however she enjoys it for the design purpose.Plus, who is too old for Cinderella?????

4-0 out of 5 stars Favorite of my 3 yr old Cinderalla fan
I bought this for my 3 year-old who adores Cinderella in any form. She loves putting the furniture and characters in the rooms and quickly learned to navigate. She does get a little frustrated when she can't put the furniture precisely where she wants it.Not a lot of learning value, but has really helped her gain control of the mouse and learn basic computer skills.Otherwise, just fun and entertaining for a very young one. She'll outgrow this before she turns 5, I'm sure ... 5-0 out of 5 stars great game !
i ordered this game for my son. he really likes it alot and so do i. i say buy it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent graphics; good for number, letter, pattern recognition
TECHNICAL ASPECTS FOR INSTALLATION
3-0 out of 5 stars Good content, poor structure
We bought this game for our (...) daughter and we were disappointed. There are virtually no instructions and the navigation between screens and games is mostly guesswork. On several screens we had to ask ourselves what the goal of the page was. Many of the games are nice and our daughter likes them, but the overall experience as a user is not great.

5-0 out of 5 stars Two winners in one package!
We purchased this for my 6-year-old when she was in kindergarten. Now she's in first grade and reading at a third-grade level.Pooh can bear a small part of the credit for that, as this bright, fun, joyous pair of CDs contains lots of good letter and word identification games that have helped her go from "I like Mommy and Daddy to read to me" to "Let me read to Mommy and Daddy."The math CD is just as much fun, but of course the game is numbers, not letters and words. These programs are perfectly on-target with the characters and with the teaching methods, and hey, everybody loves Pooh and his friends.Excellent package.

5-0 out of 5 stars Repurchasing because I loaned it out!
I am a home childcare provider and was a teacher and all the children have loved these. The reading one has helped all my children with letter identification and sounds and the math is excellent as well for counting, one to one correspondence and more.I believe in it so much, I am buying it for my second child to use. These are the best of the Pooh learning games if you ask me!

5-0 out of 5 stars The 3 kids love it!
We have three children ages 3, 3, and 5.All of them love it and I even enjoy taking a turn or two :).The games teachexcellent skills for school and stress math and reading in a fun and interesting way.The kids love earning items to be put in their garden and contraptions to be added to their treehouse. We have to set the timer so everyone gets a turn.Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Fantasy Dressing Artist Designer Dream for Every Princess
This is soooooo fun and beautifull and all the princesses! No problem at all with my computer in installing and the voices are beautifull and clear. I guess the sound in the other reviewer's computer must have had a problem. This is the BEST fashion cd rom with the plus of having the princesses in it that I have seen. My daughter is 4 and can play with it. But its a discovery type game, ie you find out how everything works as you get more familiar with it. In the beginning things seem not to be working but with time you see that OH, now I have to drag and click not just click, or OH here you have to click on the icon first and then on the picture for it to do what you want! Have patience and you will become an expert princess! Very cheap for the amount of stuff you can do with it, also grows with the child. For young ones mom should play with it BEFORE the child to avoid initial frustration so you can explain some of the quirks to her first. Happy princessing this is a dream!

4-0 out of 5 stars We Love Cinderella
My daughter (aged five) loves this CD and all the games on it.Unlike the other reviewer, we have never had a problem with our sound. We have also given this as a birthday gift and have had positive feedback from other mothers.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best game I've ever played!
You get to fight all sorts of creatures. All the characters you play, including Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy, can earn these cool special abilities. Peter can pick Susan and Lucy up. Susan can grab Edmund by his hands and swing him around.Susan can grab Lucy by her hand and tow her around. Edmund can also do this. The coolest ability besides healing people is, Peter and Edmund can stick their sticks or swords in the ground and create a line of fire that kills everything in their path. You also can earnmoves where you can kill things in one strike. Susan can play Mr. Tumnus' panpipes. Overall, this game is worth the money.

2-0 out of 5 stars Looks like the White Witch won this time.
The book was great. The movie was great. But the day the game was made was the day Narnia died...

5-0 out of 5 stars The Lion King Classic Collection
I recently bought a copy of this collection and noticed that the box said The Lion King II Gamebreak at the bottom but, It was only the Timon and Pumbaa's Jungle game included, I was a little dissapointed but, oh well. The three games were pretty fun, especially the Timon and Pumbaa's Jungle Games. It relieved a little stress after a long day; maybe it was the music? I thought the The Lion King II Active play was a little childish but I still liked the activities as it was a little bit challenging, not really but, kind of. I would say the most educating game of the trio was th Adventures in typing with Timon and Pumbaa, as it also taught proper typing postures and other miscellaneous but, important skills (I think I need brush up on my typing skills). I think this collection is great for the whole family because the different games are for different age levels and it also was fun for me, so... I think it was a great buy and very worthwhile; it includes three games, where could you find another deal like that! Long Live The Lion King! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars I love this game.
This game is awesome. It is so fun playing it.The game does get pretty hard though.I play this game as much as i possibly can.I would say this game is fit for ages 7 and up!In this game buzz has to rescue his best friend woody. He must make it through 15 exciting actionpacked levels. But i have only got to level 10.You must collect as much pizza planet tokens as possible in order to beat the game.In order to get them you must defeat many bosses and complete many other challenges.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good addition to your educational software
My 3-year-old son loves the Winnie-the-Pooh games. He's not as big a fan of this one as he is of Pooh's ABC's; it's a bit "over-his-head," but I'm sure we'll get more use of it later on.The Winnie-the-Pooh Preschool game is by FAR his favorite. (I would also highly recommend it; VERY entertaining and educational, and that was how he learned to use the mouse.Great skill building activities.)Any of the Pooh titles would be a good buy.

5-0 out of 5 stars A One Hundred Acre Wood Full Of Spelling Fun!!!
Winnie The Pooh Spelling is a wonderful, educational way to learn, and have fun with Pooh. Spelling is adopted from the original Ready To Read With Pooh, but even if you already have that, it will still be a blast. As you begin Pooh will greet you with his cheerful "Here We Go Floating" song. Then, he will land right in front of your tree house, and he will say so. After which, Gofur will give you one of his mailboxes and you get to put your name on it. (Be sure to check your mail every time you come back to your tree house, because there will be letters from Pooh's friends that you can print.) Every direction around the tree house will be a game. To the west, there is Pooh's Hunny Pots. Pooh has just finished lunch, and he needs your help to put all of the hunny pots back on the shelves. To do that, simply put them back on the shelves in alphabetical order. You will receive highlighted hints of what needs to go where for level one, for level two, you don't need to necessarily follow the alphabet, but you'll need to get all of the pots matched with the certain letters on the shelves to clean up, without any hints, and for level three, you'll have to just, shall we say, "follow your instinct." After each level, Gofur will come down the chimney and present your prize. If you head in a rather eastish direction, you'll come to Piglet's Cupboards. Piglet is getting ready for lunch and he needs you help to match up his plates for it. To do that, simply open the doors until you get a match. For level one, match the plates with the same letters on them, (there will be both upper and lower case letters on the plates in this level,) for level two, there will be only one upper or lower case letter, (for example, A matches with A, and b matches with b,) And for level three, match the plate with the upper case letter with the plate with the lower case letter, (For example, C matches with c.) After you have completed a level, Gofur will break through the cupboard and reveal your prize. Finally, if you head "due north, by northwoodly", you'll get to play the best game here, Tiggers Don't Climb Trees. Tigger has bounced up into the tree, and it's going to be your job to help him get down. To do that, simply complete the quilt for Kanga, Roo, & Piglet to hold under Tigger to catch him when he falls. To complete the quilts on level one, put in the missing letter of the picture above the word at the front of the word to complete it, (for example, choose f for _an,) for level two, The same only with the last letter, (for example, choose g for do_,) and for level three, do the same only with the middle letter of the word, (for example choose a for c_t.) After you complete a level, Gofur will pop up out of the ground and reveal your prize. Speaking of prizes, you're probably wondering where they are going. Well, back to your tree house of course. Prizes will appear on the outside & inside of your tree house. So far it sounds like a great game, but wait it gets better. Also included are six, that's right, six demo games. There's Winnie The Pooh Toddler, Preschool, and Kindergarten. The same with Mickey Mouse. In Pooh Toddler and Mickey Toddler, help Pooh and friends get down to the ground after hanging on balloons, and help Minnie look for shapes all around her house. Toddlers don't even have to click to play most of it!!! Then, in Pooh Preschool and Mickey Preschool, help Pooh think of words to say to the magic tree to hear it in a different language, and help Goofy make 100 percent goof cars. Finally in Pooh Kindergarten and Mickey Kindergarten, make Tigger act out actions using wacky sentences, and learn the alphabet while keeping Goofy falling off the edge of a not-yet-completed building. Other titles in the Winnie The Pooh Learning Series include Pooh 123's, ABC's, Ready To Read, Ready For Math, Preschool, Toddler, and Kindergarten. You think I'm done? Yes, I am. Well that's it. I hope this review has helped you and encourages you to get this CD-ROM. ... Read more

My 3 yr old daughters love this game and keep asking if there are other Ollo games, and I really hope there will be some new games about Ollo soon.I think that this game is unique in that it develops analytical skills rather than focusing directly on number and letter skills like many other products do.It is also interesting to have one major story for a player to follow through the entire game instead of short vignettes for each skill/game level that are loosely tied together.

5-0 out of 5 stars Lots of fun while learning
My first child liked it so much, I am repurchasing the series for my youngest. I bought the whole series (Toddler, Preschool and Kindegarden) for my first child some time ago.She spent hours playing the games and loved it. My youngest liked it to (Toddler & Preschool) but, unfortunately, scratched the CDs. He keeps asking for the Winnie the Pooh games so I am purchasing again Toddler & Preschool (fortunately, Kindergarden was spared!)
4-0 out of 5 stars Great fun at first, but doesn't have much depth
My 2 year old is a huge Pooh fan, and of course took to the good graphics and sound in this game right away. Some of the activities were rather non-sensical, but many were quite entertaining. Some of the counting and language excercises were very creative. The problem is that after we completed all of the activities and visited the bithday party (which took about 4 sessions), there was nothing else in the game to hold his interest.

5-0 out of 5 stars my son loves this cd-rom
