Want To Make A Magazine, A Show That Shows Info, A Book?
Powerful and Easy
This software package makes desktop publishing and presentations a snap!I am continually amazed by the software available for the Mac.I don't understand how anyone can prefer a PC.This software package is the perfect example of simplicity and power.I threw together a family newsletter in about 20 minutes shortly after installing the software on my machine.All my relatives think I had the newsletter done professionally!iWork is simply amazing!

Great replacement for Microsoft Word, for most purposes
I was stunned when I started using Pages v2... because I'd been convinced that Apple would never get a word processor right. AppleWorks pretty much sucked (tedious interface, limited capabilities, never fully updated for Mac OS X). TextEdit is nothing more than a rough draft of an application.

As expected from Hallmark
I had a very old version of Hallmark Studio, don't even remember how old.Wanted to update.I installed the program and was absolutely amazed and very happy with this product and features.Lots of cards to choose from, very very pretty colors. The event planner is great too! The ONLY thing I would change is the ability change font in the planner, and move written info by tabbing.Otherwise it's a wonderful program.Highly recommended!!
Whoopie!Better Than Ever
I had a much earlier version of Hallmark Card Studio and really liked it.I think this new version (Deluxe 2006) is even better.This program is so easy to use and yet able to create some beautiful cards.My favorite part of the program is the Event Planner.The reminders are wonderful.I haven't missed a lecture, appointment, or any other time commitment since loading this program.I love the fact that I can set reminders for days and days ahead.Get this set for yourself and don't be afraid to get it for someone who is not too computer savvy.It should satisfy any user.

Stunning!
Wow, this software is unbelievable! You can completely remodel a room with just a few click of a mouse. It is affordable especially when you consider the paycheck of an interior architect and the suggestions are excellent. It is easier to do and decide everything while sitting at your computer instead of feeling frustrated during the process. Get Lost ! - it's easy with this software
We just returned from a trip to France where we had a rental car for 10 days and covered about 2000km.
Auto Traveling in Europe - A breeeeeeeeze
In 2004, had to buy Autoroute from English merchant for more than twice this price - and it was worth it. On arrival in Calais, to departure from Paris three weeks later (thru Reims, Bastogne, Strasbourg, Dijon, Caen, Paris, Bordeaux, Rennes, etc, this gem (with a GPS unit) offered continual real time "this is where you are" as well as "re-calculated routes" to get us where we wanted to go, no matter how many unplanned detours we took.Would never travel without it...

Very Impressed!
I had seen this product advertised on T.V. and was skeptical at first but intrigued as well. A year later, I decided that it was time to get some voice training.I've loved music all my life and have been singing all through it. Since I'm learning guitar, I figured now would be the time to step it up a notch. Unfortunely, I can't afford proper lessons so I guessed that this would be the next best thing, I didn't even know if I was a soprano, baritone, or anything. Singing Coach arrived yesterday and I've been playing with it ever since. I learned that I'm a tenor! It took a while to get the microphone settings correct, My voice wouldn't register at first and I thought that the product was faulty. If this happens to anyone else, try checking the settings for your computer's microphone, that was my problem.I love the pitch tracking! It helped me so much! You can see if your pitch is wrong and you can adjust yourself while you sing! There are tons of exercises too.You can go by note, or by scale. The songs that come with are old traditional songs like Twinkle, twinkle little star, home on the range,etc. I was kind of bummed by this at first but they definitely help with the training. The only bad thing is the selection of downloadable songs on their website.I was able to find two but other than that nothing I would want to sing. But that's me, you can check out what songs they carry on the carryatune.com website. Also after you use up your free downloads it is 3.95 per song.That's sure to add up if you get bored easily like me. All in all, a good product for the absolute beginner. It does seem like an experienced singer wouldn't get much out of it, except maybe as a supplement between classes or something like that.

Love it!
This is a really neat software program and its easy to use. I love that I can actually "see" how I am singing right there on the computer screen. It's nice to be able to look at my saved recording and see exactly where I was too high or too low. When I make the changes, my score improves. I think the animation is great (what can I say, it keeps me feeling young and fun). My daughter is using Singing Coach to practice for her school's talent show. We like it a lot. ... Read more

Easy to use-But very limited
I bought this and the Punch interiors software. This software is easy to use compared to Punch, but I suspect thats partly because H&G is very limited in options. For instance in Punch you can design your doors exactly as they are. In H&G you choose a style and have a few options. Punch also has a large library of trees, shrubs and plants to use to landscape your design. H&G only has potted plants. With H&G there are few backgrounds to use, and most look like they were taken from the west coast; mountains, sand dunes and million dollar homes on the beach. Nothing for the average person living in a suburb. Punch allows you to import your own digital photos as background, or just use their sky background. Either works well. I imported several panoramic photos of my backyard and side, and you can then put them at any angle to completely surround your design. BUT, you better read the manual (342 pages), it's not an intuitve program, H&G is. With H&G you can basically start after just a little homework. H&G; easier to use with less options. Punch; harder to learn but more flexibility.

Limited
As another reviewer said, the furniture selections are very limited and fairly lame in appearance. That includes lamps, rugs, accessories etc, too. You will not be able to duplicate a space that you see in the design magazines, but you will be able to get a general idea of what your space will look like in terms of color combinations and furniture arrangement.The object selections are just not comprehensive enough. The software is fairly stable, but slow ( I am using a 1.7ghz computer with almost 1 gb of memory). The camera controls are awkward, but usable. For painting, there are many colors to choose from and its easy to show different combinations. Floor plan layout is good. I did not need to get precise, so I do not know how it would hold up in a more serious application.
Good software and fun, too
I have not spent tons of time working with the program yet, but have done enough to know that the learning curve is reasonable if you are somewhat publishing program literate. It has lots of potential for aiding in visualizing what your project will look like finished. If you are willing to invest some time to learn the program features, it performs as promised. ... Nice DVD's, poor customer support
I got my DVD a few weeks back and discovered I could not read any of the files form the 1990s. I tried on several computers I have in the house and came to realize that the DVD is defective. I contacted Gitcorp about the problem and they informed me they would send me a replacement disc.
Wow I love it.
Ok I gave it 4 stars just for the fact that you cant actually hold them in your hands and read them . I do have them on my laptop so I guess that kinda works. Whats great about it is the price. 30 bucks for 40 years of comics.....get real!!! I did have some install problems at first like others have but when I took the disc out and reloaded it it fixed itself. I think it was a Adobe update but it did it for me so no biggie. My only problem now is when am I going to find time to read all of the issues. Oh and one more thing you can save the disc to your hard drive so you can save it at work and read at lunch without having to bring the disc with you. Highly recomended if you love comics.

"Comic Books" are back as an affordable medium
I absolutely recommend this to anyone who liked reading The Avengers comics when they were kids.This is the only affordable way to actually view copies of these old issues.The scanning is high quality and of course, the stories are excellent.In another review a person had complained that the scanning was crooked.However, it is not the scans that are crooked, but the actual comic pages were crooked.The old comics did not have very high quality in the printing and binding processes.However, none of that detracts from the reading pleasure.The comics on the disk should be readable for decades to come because they are Acrobat files which do not need any rare software to be viewed.Enjoy!! ... Mine worked on XP SP2 perfectly.
I was surprised to hear that this software didn't work on others' computers that were running XP SP2, mine runs just fine. To be honest though it did take a while for the setup to kick in. After it started up the first time though it runs flawlessly.
