harmless , girly fun
I actually got this game used, and it is my [...] favorite, by far.I cannot honestly say it is educational, but it does incorporate some basic math (earning money for tasks, knowing if you have enough left to spend, etc.) and a lot of critical thinking ( you must meet certain criteria when decorating the window and designing outfits).This game would be a great choice for a [...] who enjoys fashion, a My Scene fan or not.I actually enjoyed designing outfits and tooling around on the subway as much as my daughter did.

It Could Have Been Fun - If it Worked!
My computer meets all of the requirements for this game and then some. But it won't work! My dad installed it for me and it said it installed correctly. Then, when I go to play it, it crashes on me. So I tried again, and again it crashed. my dad uninstalled it and tried again. As I tried to play it froze my computer up and then crashed. It just goes to show you that even if you have a good computer, cheap software still doesn't work.

Raizin funds
In the aftermath of Katrina I found myself wanting to help people anyway I could. I ordered this program so I could design my own t-shirts and sell them. I designed my own art and inserted it in to the program. People seem to love them. So far I have raised $1700.00 for Katrina victims

Everything we expected and more!
This was by far a great program, and never had a problem with it loading on our computer. Fast installation and very easy to work with. Plenty of available online, over the phone, or program tutorial help! Awesome program, even comes with a tshirt and 2 transfers!

Cosmo Makeover Yourself!
This game is okay if you like to play around with looks. It'd be better if you had more makeup choices, or other brands. The hairstyle choices arewide ranged but some hairstyles are hideous! If you are buying this game tomake-over yourself be sure to have a digital camera of some sort or itwon't be much fun.The other versions of the game are pretty good to aswell because you can do more, but this game sells pretty cheap so if youare looking for a simple makeover then try out this orginal makeover game!

My sister and I bought this software, mostly for fun, but also to try out new looks.It was pretty easy to set up and use.As for complaints that it moved slowly, we didn't find that to be the case at all.The hardestpart was getting the picture of my face lined up just right.Other thanthat, the Cosmopolitan Makeover software has been a success.I highlyrecommend it. Slightly Disappointed
My daughter loves this game.However, there are pieces which are blacked off that can not be used.So there would be a large selection of wedding dresses, tiara's, jewerly, cake tops, etc. however you can not use them all and are limited.Also, you can choose your bride, but only one girl ever comes out as the bride no matter who you choose.
Not bad overall
I'mpicked up this game for the fun of it. What I found was a 2d game with very simply drawn graphics which is still alot of fun to play. There are alot of games that you have to finish to get better bride's items. I still play it because it is fun to choose wedding stuff, and who doesn't like choosing wedding stuff?

Cosmopolitan Virtual Makeover 2003
Cosmopolitan Virtual Makeover 2003 is a great product!It was everything that I had expected, and more!There are an abundance ofhairstyles, hair colors,highlights and makeup!Also, there was several ethnic photos of models that could be used!This makes it much easier for women from different ethic backgrounds to use this product. Much more user friendly than prior Cosmopolitan Virtual Makeover software.

Cosmo Virtual Makeover 2003
This software was cheap enough, and it did help some in choosing the right makeup colors, hair color, and hairstyle.But it certainly leaves something to be desired.The makeup won't go on straight at all and looks like a total mess.The jewelry selection is limited to about 20 pieces which look like all the same style.The hairdo's are outdated and weird.They look like they're from the rock-n-roll 80's.

We bought this program last year for Christmas and have a million laughs since then making over everyone in our family, including our cat.As a beauty tool the program is a total waste: most of the hairstyles are unrealistic and applying the makeup is difficult.The end result has never been anything but amusing. I expected more....
This product is, at best, just o.k. the hairstyles were average. Some reminded me of the 80's. the good thing though, was that your could vary the hair color alot so at leat you could get an idea of what you might like. There are about 3 cds that have to be installed. Also, the makeup cd is a WASTE OF TIME. It offers drawn lips that you paste on your face! I dont know about the people that made this program but, i think its awful. If your thinking of buying this product I suggest you think twice.

BRILLIANT!!!Especially for 9-15 year olds.
My sister and I live in England so we had this sent by airmail. Although we were disappointed at how much this cost. We were impressed at how quickly it arrived and how well packaged it was. It was quick to install but hard to get up one of the preinstalled models, and also getting the makeup to load didn't seem to work at first. But when we got it working it was really good, it gave realistic results and looked like the model was really wearing the makeup we put on her (you can also use male models). Although the makeup is good the hairstyles sometimes look a bit fake. We are a bit unsure though, because on the website it claims you can make a virtual 3d model of yourself, by typing in your measurments. Although we are sure this is possible, we still haven't worked out how to do this. It is great fun putting wild makup and wacky hairstyles on one of the preinstalled models, but we thought it would be much more enjoyable if we did it on one of our photographs; as this is the main idea. It was simple to load the photo we wanted, but when we tried to put the makeup and accesories on they wouldn't load. We were amazed at how many hairstyles, makeup, colours, etc. there were. Overall we do think this is the best virtual makeover software around, as we do own others. If you are interested in fashion and makeup then this is for you. Frustrated Mother of Bride:This product STINKS !
I agree with all the bad reviews for this product. No support, can't even get a phone number from super pages to get help. It freezes up, doesn't load information into budget planner, can't get the guest list that I have completed, Looked great initially, then it totally stopped working with no one to ask why. It STINKS!!!!!!!

Frustrated Future Bride
I received this as a gift from my fiance.I have had the same problems with this as other reviewers.The software will not download and I can't get the "Technical Support" team to contact me back.The company apparently knows of their problems but is still selling this software to unsuspecting customers.If you haven't purchased this yet save yourself the trouble by not ordering this.

I recently purchased this program and I am very disppointed with it. I was having problems with the contact names not showing up and with the calendar section in which the information would not enter. PC Stitch
When I visited Amazon.com I just wanted to check the PC Stitch program out.After looking it over I was pretty sure it was what I wanted.I clicked on the purchase icon and when it told me to put in my credit card number I have made a vow not to use my credit card number over the internet again, so I backed out.Thinking I had not purchased it I went on to reading my email and all of a sudden an email came in saying my PC Stitch that I had just purchased through Amazon will be shipped on a certain day and my purchase will be charged to my credit card.I was amazed and confused.Although I wanted this item I had not given them my credit card number, so how did they get it?I thought about calling, but I actually wanted the item, so I let them ship it and would ask later about how they got my credit card number since I had never purchased anything through Amazon before.The product was sent to my husband instead of me, so you must have had his credit card number through some other sort of business deal before, but to whom?Please respond to this review and let me know.Thank you, Mrs. Pauline Lieth

ARE THEY KIDDING????
This CD rom even comes with TUTORIALS! I still can't get past them to get to the real designs I want to make. The directions are written for people who need a degree in computer engineering. I have a decent knowledge of computers, Access, Excel, Word, etc. I thought it would be relatively easy once I got the "hang of it." I can't find a "back" or "erase" button like on Word, to delete or erase the most recent action, so I end up having to start over again. And again. And again. I was so excited to use this because I'm so sick of going to craft stores and seeing nothing but ugly cross-stitch kits for flower bouquets, kitchen decor or farm animals. This CD is a waste of time and money. Don't bother.

First off, I think it is worth the money - that being said, it is hard to use - once a font is in place it cannot be re-sized or moved, it has to be deleted and re-done - the same goes for artwork .... LovED it
This game was very fun. First, you chose a model(girl or guy w/ atleast 15 who were very different). Then you chose eyes(liner, shadow, contacts color), lips (liner and color), concealor, hair(hundreds of styles), earings, jewlery, hats, tattoes, and background. Also, you could customize the thickness, depth, and color. You could blend too, and this makeover looks VERY realistic, like a photograph. The only thing is that now that I have a new computer, the game isn't working. I'm not sure why, I think it's just because it's old softwear. But if it does work, you're in for loads of fun!

Not suitable for XP users
I recently recieved this in the mail from Amazon.com. Not only was the package torn up (I know it was sent from another company and not Amazon, so I don't blame them entirely) but the software wouldn't work on my computer! I tried to install it over and over but apparently the software isn't suitable for some components of Windows XP. I am really disappointed, especially since I was so excited to try this.

I would give it 10 stars if I could!
This program rocks. Don't let other people fool you by sayingit doesn't look real when you do a makeover. It looks totally real and if you want to find out what you look like as a blond, buy this game! Also this game has many choices of hairstyles and accecories. And if you buy this game, you get free downloads and updates for it...Oh and just one thing! The picture of you you put into the ym makeover, DON'T have it be a polaroid pic, it makes it blurry. False Ad Poor Service
This is not deluxe as advertised but a sampler and will not work on windows xp. It says on the case for windows 97...When tried to use for the first time said it wouldn't play,error messages, not for windows xp as asvertised, and their customer compaint online limits you to 200 words/spaces. They sent the same exact item. This time i found a phone number. Could hardly understand the operator. As soon as he looked at picture and what I was saying, he said Oh yea I'll have to tell them about this, that was a week ago, (Did email a ten dollar certificate as if I would trust them to order anything else). Picture or ad has still not been changed and I'm still awaiting refund. This was my first and last dealing with Amazon. I think it is a bait and switch ploy because most people won't follow up on it.

This is a SAMPLER - curious to read about Delux vs.
Although importing and adjusting picture to fit styles was easy, it only had 30 styles.Out of the 30 only 2 really were what I was looking for.The Long selection only had 2, there were 3 bridal "up do's" and for short - the selection was slim.It was a good "sampler" or "teaser" for getting something you could really use, but not useful once you got it.More selection of regular styles would have suite me better. ...Good Luck.
