Some regrets
I regret that Microsoft has removed items I had on my last edition (2005)
BUYER BEWARE!.NET 2.0 is too buggy.
I agree with all of the positives of other reviewers. Five stars for the program. Unfortunately, it runs on .NET 2.0, which is so no ready for use that Microsoft doesn't even have an FAQ page about it on their website. Version 2.0 is incompatible with many programs that run on .NET 1.1 and will wreak havoc on your system. Examples: The Complete New Yorker Viewer becomes non-functional and you may not be able to access other computers on your home network. Wait for Microsoft to fix the buggy .NET 2.0 before considering buying. Stick with Encarta 2006 for now.

Been a Petz fan since Petz2!
This game offers game play with no end, there is not only mini games where you can win prizes...but you also can play fetch and many other games with your petz.You can breed mixed dogs or purebred...and can even do selective breeding.
Haters Are Idiots
Hey, this is a great game. Just to tell the people who think this gaame is boring: Y'all must not be able to use a computer if you think there's nothing to do. Sure, this is a few-minutes-each-day game. But you can dress up your pets, you can breed them, (though I'm not sure about the crashing problem, I only had that with the fourth game installment) and you can use programs to make new breeds. For people who can't get any items, that's done with theminigames. And though you get bored after a half-hour to an hour, you go back to it the next day.

Excellent game and graphics
I purchased this game through the EA store.It shipped quickly; I got it the day after it was released.The graphics for the PC are much improved from the previous versions.I am very happy with the gameplay, however, between Pro & All-Pro there is a major difference in skill level required.I am able to play well in Pro mode but in All-Pro I can barely do anything.The computer opponent is just too difficult.

I have a dell xps gaming system and the game freezes after every extra piont. I have contacted EA and they have had me try many thing but none have worked. From what I have played of the game it seems to be a great game, but I would not buy it until they have a patch to fix the problem. ... Read more

Classic game, well worth the $
Great game no matter what anyone says. A little dated but solid story and game to match.

Starcraft should be a classic game. It is just that good.
This should be consider one of the classics games in the game world. It has been the top 10 games for a couple of years and it is still widely played today. This package contains the original and expansion pack with strategy guides which is really good deal. This game is a strategy game which has a very awesome story line for its campaign. And if you want to get out of the RPG/MMORPG craze Starcraft is a the best strategy game to go back on. If you are debating between Starcraft and Warcraft, I have to say Starcraft would be a better choice. Starcraft requires more skill and it open lots more opportunity than warcraft with its massive number in army and units.

This game initially came out around 10 years ago with an expansion pack couple years later. Personally I only play battle.net mode(online play) because there user created maps and missions unlike the ones that come with the game. Works great for me.
Love the Firewall and use the spyware along with Spysweeper without a problem. Antivirus is fabulous. System has slowed very slightly but good AV programs have a lot of work to do. Still no where near as slow as Norton. This program design and function just instills confidence in me. I keep my system slim and trim and install programs correctly but all I can say is, it works great for me.

Sometimes You Get More than You Pay For - Unfortunately
I upgraded to this latest version of the McAfee product, wanting only the VirusScan, which has served me well over many years. Unfortunately, you must now accept a "suite" of solutions that McAfee deems in your best interest. If you need the functionality of the whole suite, you may be satisfied - or not. If you only want one component, you bought a truckload of trouble. It claims to be user-configurable. You will get a lot of practice at this because the product resets to McAfee's default configuration every few days. It requires considerable time and effort to drill down and disable each item in that configuration. But you have little choice. The program will nag you without mercy until you are "fully protected" - every time you boot up. One McAfee-dictated setting is a deep scan of your system every morning. You probably know that can pretty much tie up your processor for the rest of the day. McAfee Customer Service has been, well, politely quiet. In my view McAfee VirusScan has become a virus with an innovative Auto-nag feature.

Will NOT play well with other programs you may want to keep

Great if you want to train Pitch Accuracy!
I am an above average singer and want to take the next step to becoming a professional and found that my pitch accuracy needed some help. Problem is that I can't always hear when I'm off pitch and have to depend on my husband to tell me - which is a pain when you're a singer. I got this program for that purpose which is to train this very important part of singing. I would definitely recommend this program if you are a beginning singer - it will help with understanding the basics and pitch accuracy. If you are an intermediate singer or expert singer this can still help you - not in improving your vocal flexibility, range or tone (I recommend Brett Manning's Singing Success CD set for that), but if you want to improve pitch accuracy.I must say in the week that I've had this, I think I've improved. Yes it is a cheesy program - with lots of cheesy animated characters but it is easy to skip this stuff if it annoys you as it does me. I just wish that we could have more interesting songs on the program - the songs that already come with the program are songs like Amazing Grace and Danny Boy - which are good but get a little boring. This gives you 12 free downloads of better songs (i.e. pop etc.) but I do wish it was 20 or something like that. Would be nice if Carry a Tune had a bigger selection of songs - like I couldn't find a single Jewel song! That's my only real gripe. I'm pretty happy with it overall...

Misleading
I was expecting much more than what I got. There are 25 songs but they're all juvenile songs. You can download some but I guess I just expected more help with pitch than what this provides. For the money, it's not worth it.

Awesome software
I picked this product up recently and I have to say it is even better than advertised. It gies you everything it says it does and more and works great. The fact that I can see my voice on the screen is amazing and in real time no less.

We have been fans of the I Spy Books & Software for some time, but this is our new favourite.The graphics are great & the levels within each "story" keep my 6 year old twin boys busy when Mummy needs a break.The I Spy Team should keep up the good work - this is a computer game that won't turn kids brains to mush!

Finally a Great Antivirus!
I used to have Norton for years.After all it was the industry standard, but after it let many a virus slip on through; I had enough.
Best Security Software on the Market!!
I was recommended this software by Amazon Merchant Xpresstech in 2003 and have been using it ever since.This is an excellent product and it is the least intrusive of all similar products!
Save your money and get something else
After a couple of months of working perfectly, the software said that the registation is invalid (I purchased a 1 yr subscription, so this error message should not appear). After going thru all the knowledge base on Trend Micro's website, none of the solution worked. I contacted Trend Micro and it seems that all they can do is cut and paste the same solutions off their website and send them via email. After couple hours of headaches and no progress, I decided to uninstall the software and going to get some other anti-virus software. Save your money and don't even bother with Trend Micro, their product will just stop working prematurely and their tech support is awful. ... Read more

Not exactly top notch but it will get you there This review might be alittle hard on the product but I wasnt impressed.Expecting something revolutionary instead the lessons were kind of like going though High School again with one big exception.They dont give you a writen translation of what every thing means.Rossetta Stone focuses on pictures and the actual sounding out of words spoken.In the program you are presented a picture and in Italian a narrator tells you what is going on or what the picture is.However what he is saying is not directly translated in written words.Its up to you to figure out what he is saying based on what you see in the pictures.So pretty much you are not sure at times which words spoken are verbs or nouns.They do their best to single out the verbs in which they give you multiple pictures of ppl performing the same actions.However still its up to you to figure that out.Other than that its a great program.It forces you to pronounce italian with an italian accent using the pictures you see.You are able to write italian sentences using the same technique (still no english translation).I chose a language I already knew to try the program out.If I was a true beginner...I might have a hard time learning this language and I would by far not be fluent in it.Thats for sure. ...
