5-0 out of 5 stars Make A DASH for "Dinner Dash"
I rarely buy PC games, but this one is clever and fun. I thoroughly enjoyed playing the demo several times so I decided to purchase it. Yes, this is a game that you can play for hours and hours. Every so many years they come up with a game that captures the imagination. I remember being blown away by "Roller Coaster Tycoon." But games like "Dinner Dash," "Cake Mania," and "Luxor" are bringing the fun back. I like the fact that a lot of these games have different skill levels or goals that you have to reach. It's challenging. I'm an adult and I'm finding myself addicted to PC games again. It's hard to beat arcade classics like "Pac-Man" and "Centipede," but the current crop of PC games seems to be headed in the right direction.

5-0 out of 5 stars Hours of entertaining play
The older I get, the more I appreciate what are called "casual games" - simple objectives, like Tetris are more my speed. I grew up playing Asteroids, Centipede, Root Beer Tapper & Frogger... in many ways, this game is a combination of all of those. The main character of the game tells her boss to shove it (in a nice way, of course) and starts her own restaurant. She has a variety of customers... college kids, senior citizens, businessmen & women - and all have different levels of patience, tipping and fuses.
4-0 out of 5 stars Great PC Gaming
This is a great game. It's ery addictive, and doesn't get boring. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Will not run on new Mac's
the manufacturer needs to state upfront that the game will not run on the new intel based macs. I too called Aspyr and they said they are trying to come up with a patch, but don't know when that will happen. As of now it is not high on their priority list. We would not have purchased had we known.
4-0 out of 5 stars DOES NOT OPERATE ON MAC MINI!
Just be aware it does NOT work on the MAC Mini with the dual core chip.Only "OLD" MAC products.I've called the manufacturer of the game to verify this."Maybe" in the future, but obviously not now.A shame as that's what a lot of kids are getting these days as an inexpensive but quality computer.
1-0 out of 5 stars Too loud, too violent
This game, which comes with warnings that it may cause seizures, is too loud, with bright flashing lights. My son tried it out once, and his sisters immediately started complaining that it was loud and violent, a definite waste of time.I found it did not work so well on our MAC - though it said to click on the exit button to end a game, there was no exit button. We returned this game and bought the backyard baseball game for MACS, a game with more educational value and no loud, flashing lights. My son let me return the Star Wars game with no resistance. ... 1-0 out of 5 stars Oh my damn
This game sucks, seriously. there are no other words to say about it.

1-0 out of 5 stars interested, but not in gameplay
Here, I am trying to find a good build your own starship from the star trek universe. And what is there? Build your own ship and take it out and get blown up. There are plenty of software out there for that. I want a software that lets me build different star trek ships (LOTS of them, not just 7,8,9, or 10). Is there such a software? I hope someone makes one. Put it in an external hard drive, Heck i'D buy it!

1-0 out of 5 stars worst ever
this game is my #100 game I've ever played... out of 100! This game is HORRIBLE. Don't waste your money on this as it takes forever to play the mission, and i haven't used it for months. i'd recommend starfleet command if you are looking for the next step up. notice the prices... $0.01??? tells you it is cheap. i do not like it. all you do is change the ship around, add crew, and then wait for 30 minutes and finally it sometimes will blow your ship up, and you can't use it again.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good game!
Medal of Honor Allied Assault is a fairly good game. The combat situations are fairly realistic, along with the sound affects, and once again a great music score.4-0 out of 5 stars Demanding but immersive
First off, let me just start by saying that MOH is the most well-written FPS out there. The story line continues from mission to mission and doesn't resort to the shambling zombies and cyborg enemies that another "WWII-era" FPS does (initials RTCW?).While I will admit that the Normandy Beach mission does seem lifted right out of Saving Private Ryan, it does lead on to some very interesting hedgerow missions.5-0 out of 5 stars THE BEST GAME IN THE WORLD!!! NEEDS MORE STARS!!!!
Medal Of Honor Allied Assault is the greatest game out there it's graphics are just spectacular! Don't listen to the people who say it's a bad game. Medal Of Honor Allied Assault is historically accurate and the enemy A.I. is excellent plus the D-day levels are the best I have ever played and I've been playing for 12 years. Settle for noting less buy this game and it's expansion I BEG OF YOU!!!!!!!!!!!! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun for all the family
This game was bought for my 5 year old and he loved it. My 3 year old is getting through some of the games as well and my 7 year old plays it for AGES. Unlike some games, you can move onto the next game (get a pass into another room) after a fairly short amount of time so the kids can get through the initial game quickly, then go back and play the mini games they like the most (which get harder and harder and harder......) so there is no tears or cries of "this is too hard for me"I think this is a great game for preschoolers and lower grade schoolers too. There is no need to be able to read either which is a HUGE bonus for the 3 year old :-)

5-0 out of 5 stars a MONSTER-oscity of MONSTER-liscious cool stuff
what a cool game. It was fun. I bought it initially for my daughter...she obvioulsy loved it- but then I sat down to play it too. There are 10 games inside - all start off pretty easy - but on the harder levels, its hard even for me.4-0 out of 5 stars Fun game, good replay value...
Disney at least has a good idea behind "Monsters, Inc. Scream Team Training": an activity center including ten different games each with 30 levels of gameplay. The result is a fun and replay freindly game with only a few problems. Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars A simple game my son loves
This is a real good deal, compared to the prices that people normally pay where I live, in Europe (about 25-40$ for a single cd-rom).All you do is race cars around, dodging obstacles etc., but it is a nice time-passer and interactive so a little better than TV.OK, it is mindless and there's nothing to learn, but there is a place for that!5-0 out of 5 stars Great game for preschoolers
I bought this game for my 4-year-old and he loves it!Kids get the chance to build their own race track with different types of obstacles and then see how many they can run over to earn points. When they have earned enough points they can make their own driver's license to print out.It is a great game for younger children who love race cars. ... 1-0 out of 5 stars A Real "Dud"
I thought my 6 year old grandaughter would like this game since she loves computer games and she also loved the movie "Monsters,Inc". Wrong...She wasn't able to play it, was completely bored, and even her dad found it to be a real "dud".Don't waste your money when there's games available like Freddie Fish or Putt-Putt which cost the same and are really great to play!!

1-0 out of 5 stars Don't buy it unless you like Atari games
I expect more from Disney, and certainly from Pixar. The opening video sequence is of the quality I expect. The game itself looks like it should come on a floppy disk and be played in a DOS window.Graphics are truly Atari style and the game is so hopelessly out of date, that I can't imaine any kid wanting to play it more than five minutes. My seven year old was thrilled when he unwrapped this Monsters, Inc game for his birthday gift.I'm afraid he will be in tears when he actually tries it this morning.

It clearly says on line this will work on a Mac OS system. The disk comes and it does not, only Windows .Do Not order this if you have a Mac!!!!!!!

2-0 out of 5 stars Imaginext nearly ruined a good thing
My son LOVES Imaginext building sets.He is 9 years old and his friends love them, too.Even the older siblings of these friends. They make up all kinds of stories. They are using their imaginations instead of playing video games. My son begged for this software and I gave in.Within a few hours I regretted my decision. Why did I let Fisher Price come up with his story lines and adventures when he was doing it on his own? That is what is SO great about Imaginext--finally a toy that will cause even older kids to leave the computer and video games.Luckily, I think he found the software to be boring. He played it one evening and that was it.Money wasted, yes. But, I'm glad he's back to creating on his own.I also regret that Imaginext made a video to go with the toy.Let the kids make up the stories! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Great game
This game is alot of fun both my 7 year old and 3 year old love it. The graphics are great and works on XP. If you have a car lover this is a game he/she will love :)

5-0 out of 5 stars very fun fun fun
me(10) and my brother(7)always play this after school. we design and print and play many of the games in it. my brother always hogs the computer so when he sleeps i play. my mom gets mad because we print too much but all the cars are hanging on my walls. even though im a girl i still enjoy it. anyway its worth evrything, and its cheap.......well now.i love fisher price and this is the best one they made. thankyou! oh and dont be fooled by the car, if you have a daughter who loves fisher price get this for her.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Software for Preschoolers
I purchased the Fisher Price Garage software for my 4 year old grandson.I was leery of buying it since I had previously purchased some poorly designed and frustrating software for preschoolers.I am happy to say I am very impressed with this one.One of the things I like the most about it is it's perfect for his age and his present computer skills. The visual and verbal instructions are very straighforward--he has had no trouble understanding what to do.Since he cannot read yet, he only needed a little help the first few times using it.Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Arcade Style Boat Race
This game alone is fun enough as a short-term diversion. You have to maneuver a boat along a racing track, collect tokens, and out-maneuver other boats. It requires some keyboard skills (approx. age 5 and older) but my 4-year-old can tag-team play with me; I steer and he hit the accelerator key.It has different "race tracks" to choose from which adds variety. If you are looking for a relatively inexpensive, easy game with no violence, this one is appropriate (age 4-?).Better with the companion games in the Treasure Planet series (Etherium Rescue and Broadside Blaster).

2-0 out of 5 stars I expected a very complex and fun game
That was what I expected.I feel that the game was a let down overall because I kept expecting something really cool to happen, but it pretty much never did.It was kind of interesting at best.I gave two stars because three would indicate that I found it worth while. Most of the puzzles where either easy, or lacking in the ability to be solved without hints. I don't think I could have done it without the strategy guide that came with it. Also, I found that one of the puzzles didn't work in the way the manufacturer probably intended. To be fair, the humor was funny and very PYTHON which I liked. Additionally, I thought the whole concept was very good and I kept expecting some cool things to happen, but ultimately it did not pan out.Good Try.

4-0 out of 5 stars And now, for something completely titanic...
Starship Titanic is not based on Hitchhiker's Guide, but is very similiar in style. The game is very good, but can be difficult at times. However, unlike most games where dialogue is just something to proceed the plot, inthis game it is actually a funny and entertaining diversion thanks to thegreat dialogue engine and voice acting.Between the funny, but annoyingparrot and the Elevator attendant who constantly talks about his wartimeexploits (what war, we don't know).Buy this game if you want a funny andinteresting ride. Also, buy the book to learn about the story.

2-0 out of 5 stars Well, he knows how to write good books
The game was quite a bit of a letdown, as I am a big fan of Douglas Adams.Unfortunately, the game is not all that fun as a game.I felt even let down in the humor (or should I say humour) department as well.It did notseem as though Mr. Adams had full control over the project, as bits andpieces seemed to be his sense of humor, and other bits seemed to be awatered down Monty Python attempt. The bits that are funny are definitelyfunny, especially the talking message delivery system things. The look ofthe environs were astoundingly beautiful, but I feel that it lacked a soulbehind it.The game puzzles were at times very easy, and other timesastoundingly non-intuitive and difficult. For instance, there is onepuzzle that simply does not give you a clue that you are doing the rightthing, and you have to do it repeatedly for the game to finally give in andlet you have the victory.I won't say what it is, but it involvessomeone's butt.Overall, the humor was what kept this from getting a onestar review, but even that was a disappointment. ...
