5-0 out of 5 stars Solid Game
Its a great game even if you only play offline like I do.Definitely measures up to Blizzard standards and is as good if not better than all its precursors.Great game at a fair price!

5-0 out of 5 stars Bought the chest to play Dota.
One day I was hanging out with my friends, and I saw them playing Warcraft Dota Map on Battlenet.I had so much fun watching them play that I told myself I have to get into the action.Spent less than $30 to buy the chest on Amazon.Got it within a few days with free shipping. In my opinion, nowadays $30 can't even get you a full tank of gas anymore. This chest provides me with hours of entertainment with my friends, all for less than $30!!I think getting it is a no brainer and a bargain. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars We'd give it 10 stars if we could!
Kids and adults love solving the puzzles. It is a great intro to basic physics (w/o your kids realizing it!)There are problems to solve and you have to place tools (pulleys, balls, dominoes, candles, etc.) in the right place in order for the goal to be accomplished. Our 5 year old needs help; our 8 year old plays alone. Our friends' teenagers enjoy it also.

5-0 out of 5 stars ~WOW~
This game is a lot of fun. You need to use your head and think about how to solve all of these "wacky contraptions." At first, I thought it was a challenge, but then it got easier and easier. I'm almost at the end of the game and can't wait to see what happens!

5-0 out of 5 stars North Dakota Kid
I am 8 years old and I got Crazy Machines for my Birthday. This is the best game in the world but if you don't like complicated things you won't this game. The four main things are fire, rope, electronics, and the next one I will let you discover. You can either build your own machine or you can figure out problems that may seem hard but after you've done them awhile they are easy. Some of the things that you can build with are boards, balls, robots, cannons, goo, blimps, cords, gravity controlers, scissors, tubes, and plants.Buy this game and have tons of fun! ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Excelent! for a while...
I had The Sims 1 for a long time before I got this game, and I was looking forward to its release in Mac. I wasn't disappointed. This is a really fun game, with alot of new features. Unfortunately, like the old one, I became easily tired with it. The Sims 2 gets pretty repetative. It is still worth it, because if you get a new expansion pack every once in a while it makes it really fun again.
1-0 out of 5 stars Slow on 1.5GHz w/ 1.25GbRam
I've got a 12'' PowerPC PowerBook with 1.5GHz cpu, 1.25Gb of ram, and 64mb graphic card. And the game is very choppy and laggy. This definitely detracts a lot from the game play.
4-0 out of 5 stars Runs better on Mac
If you have a Mac, this game is worth getting. It has cool videos to go with special scenes which is a neat new feature.I find that it runs better on the Mac but that may be because I didn't have a very good PC.I've always been in to playing the Sims so if you like the Sims this is a good buy. ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Outrageous system requirements
What else can one say.My PowerBook is barely a year old and this game drags it to a complete halt.Very sad.

3-0 out of 5 stars Hold Out with Civ3 Complete Instead
In late 2002, I took a second job at a major electronics retailer and decided to use my employee discount on what looked like a cool game: Civilization III.That game changed my life... in the gaming sense. It was everything I ever thought a computer game should be: turn-based strategy with multiple avenues to test my ego and self-promoted genius.Above all features of Civ3, however, my most favorite was the customization of the game through the map editor and the wonderful online resources of the Civ community.(I've downloaded more Civ3 files than MP3s.)This allowed me to express my self-proclaimed genius with new rules, technologies, and units (and all the accompanying chronologies and requisites) at my discretion.Nothing could get any better, I had thought.

4-0 out of 5 stars Classic game, well worth the $
Great game no matter what anyone says. A little dated but solid story and game to match.

4-0 out of 5 stars Starcraft should be a classic game. It is just that good.
This should be consider one of the classics games in the game world. It has been the top 10 games for a couple of years and it is still widely played today. This package contains the original and expansion pack with strategy guides which is really good deal. This game is a strategy game which has a very awesome story line for its campaign. And if you want to get out of the RPG/MMORPG craze Starcraft is a the best strategy game to go back on. If you are debating between Starcraft and Warcraft, I have to say Starcraft would be a better choice. Starcraft requires more skill and it open lots more opportunity than warcraft with its massive number in army and units.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great game
This game initially came out around 10 years ago with an expansion pack couple years later. Personally I only play battle.net mode(online play) because there user created maps and missions unlike the ones that come with the game. If you plan to get this game I highly suggest having internet connection. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars What Happened?
I've been a fan of Myst games since the original came out years, and years ago.I can honestly say that I was incredibly disappointed in the quality of the last installment of my beloved game. The graphics were quite poor, and the level of difficulty was pathetic.the word "Easy" doesn't quite paint an accurate picture.
3-0 out of 5 stars Very Dissapointed
Knowing this would be the last chapter to the Myst series, I was hoping it's creators would come through with the most beautiful and immersive worlds yet.
3-0 out of 5 stars Disappointed

4-0 out of 5 stars An important note about expansion packs
As other people have noted here and on the other Sims 2 game pages, you MUST have the right machine specs to run this game and have a good time, and you MUST check the Aspyr website to download any available patches. I have a brand new Macbook with tons of memory which ran the Sims 2 base game like a dream... AFTER I installed the patch (before the patch it tended to hang a bit).
5-0 out of 5 stars The Fun Continues with Sims 2 Nightlife
The fun continues with Electronic Arts and Aspyr's The Sims 2 Nightlife Expansion Pack. The basic premise of Nightlife is to add pleasure to the lives of the Sims and to give them a richer social life. This is accomplished with many new additions to the game. There is a new aspiration in their lives by the added Pleasure Seeker aspiration. The Sims just want to have fun!
4-0 out of 5 stars Can your Mac handle it???

5-0 out of 5 stars Played it for years until the hackers killed battle.net
The original Diablo was ground breaking and a hell of a lot of fun. D2 took all of the great features of Diablo and then expanded both the universe, the story and the game play. If you want to disappear for a time - head for this world - you'll love it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Blizzard's sequel may just be the most addictive roleplaying game ever
The original "Diablo" came along at a time when the CRPG market was in dire straits. The game breathed fresh life into the genre and created an unparalleled accessibility that made it very easy to pick up play. Using the "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" formula, the sequel follows along the lines of the original, and expands it into a bigger and better game.
5-0 out of 5 stars Oh my... so many complaints... should I buy?
I have gathered from the reviews, lots of people love it; lots of people hate it. I am not much of a gamer, but this is the best game I have ever played, period. The gameplay, the fun, the challenge...what more should a game have? A few words on the complainers...

3-0 out of 5 stars Nice, but not great
I really enjoyed the new objects coming with the expansion pack, and I also liked the fact that you can have more aspirations if you graduate from college. It was also nice that I could make "young adults."But the gameplay in the expansion pack isn't that exciting. There's not enough for me to do, which makes the game a little less fun.Overall, though I'm still glad I bought it because of the things mentioned above. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Blizzard does it again
Diablo 2 is brilliantly fun, especially for multiplayer. There is a surprising amount of variability between characters. The game is great and I'm glad I bought it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Mostly technical
It's a great game! I started with the original Diablo in the 90's but just got back into Diablo II after playing it at a relative's house. She had the Expansion Pack so I got that, and it's much better than Diablo II alone. I'm only on the 2nd set so I'm not very good yet, and the other reviewers have been very helpful. I did notice one thing: in Diablo II you can copy the play CD, which I did to protect the original, since you have to leave that in your CD drive to play. In the expansion There is only one CD and you need to leave it in your drive instead on the Diablo II play CD. You can copy the CD, and all the files that show up on the original will be copied, but the copied CD won't work to play the game. I'm sure that's to keep people from using the same copy of the expansion on more than one computer, but it does subject the CD to wear and possible destruction. Otherwise I'm completely satisfied so far. I had one glitch: in Act 2 the computer malfunctioned and was unable to get to Canyon of the Magi because I never reached the Summoner. I found out that by saving and exiting, then going back in to the Arcane Sanctuary via the waypoint I could find and kill the Summoner and continue the game.

5-0 out of 5 stars A great game made even better with this expansion pack
Diablo II is perhaps the oldest PC game that's currently still in print, as it originally came out in 2000, and as of my speaking (2006) still being manufactured. It's one of the few still-in-print games that runs (and beautifully, by the way) on my antiquated system (to show you how antiquated my system is: it runs Riven: A Sequel to Myst beautifully, but on Myst III: Exile, many of the scenes are fine, but many of the animated sequences tend to be shaky, and it won't run Myst IV: Revelation, because it's far too slow and don't have the proper video card). That's probably also the beauty of Diablo II, you don't need the newest, fanciest computer with a 2GHz processor and the latest video card to play it. This is a truly wonderful, slash-em up adventure game certainly to please anyone of this genre. But the original Diablo II was not without its drawbacks. For example, what's the use in hiring a mercenary if they get killed almost before you get a chance to use them? Why can't you bring your mercenary back to life? Or why do you have to place your socketed weapon or armor in your inventory to place your gems, jewels and skulls in them, when you should be able to do it while still equipped? Well, this Lord of Destruction expansion pack fixes these problems, and so much more! Not only now is your mercenary much more useful, but they can be resurrected (at a certain price), you got new weapons and armor, you have two new characters to choose from (an assassin or druid), new charms, runes, etc. I also love how your stash now has been doubled, so you can put in twice as many weapons, armor, potions, etc. as before. But there are certain weapons and armor that can only be used by certain characters, and if you're playing the one player feature, you can sell these weapons and armor you can't use because of character incompatibility for more gold. And best of all, you have a whole new quest after you finish killing off Diablo! Plus you can have higher resolution so you can see more of your surroundings. Remember: you have to have the original Diablo II in order to use this expansion pack, of course. I really think this expansion pack is essential, it gets rids of a lot of the drawbacks, making the game even more exciting. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Addicting
I'm not that much of a gamer. I mean, I had Sims 2, but that was about it. My friend then told me about a game that was "really fun", Age of Empires 2.
5-0 out of 5 stars The Best Strategy Game Of All Time And One Of The Best Games Ever Made
Age Of Empires 2 is a masterpiece. Regardless of any complaints anyone has made about this game, there is no arguing. This one of the most fun, addictive, and satisfying games ever made.
5-0 out of 5 stars My FAVORITE game!
I own a LOT of computer games(including madden 2006) and this by far is my favorite. There is a huge variety of charecters,Ships, war machines, and Buildings, that inclued monks that can convert the oposing militarys men to your team color, technologys that you can upgrade as you advance through the ages,(such as adavanced buildings and upgraded armys), and villagers that can mine for gold and stone, collect and hunt for food such as berries and deer, and build castles houses and many other buildings. This game would most likely be too advanced for youger children, but for older kids and teens it's perfect. If you buy it (which I certainly think you should), then get the Gold edition and not the regular edition because it includes an expansion where you can play as aztecs, huns, koreans, mayans, and the spanish. OR instead of starting out small with a few people and some sheep or turkey, you can create a scenario where you create your own map ,choose your army, select heroes like robin hood, and construct huge castles and wonders. I reccomend this game to anyone smart enough to lead an army, and would pay over $100 dollars for it. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Good game, but some implimentation problems
Call of Duty 2 was a lot of fun as a game, but there were a number of disapointing aspects to the implimentation that stopped it from being a 5 star experience.
4-0 out of 5 stars Amazing graphics and story line.
I found this to be a fairly entertaining game on my Mac. The graphics during the game are really well done. Some minor glitches although very realistic. The small movie klips in the beginning of chapters are very well done and ensure you get an idea of the history of WW2. The surround sound is quite amazing as if you were on the war path, using head sets really helps the environment of the game. If you are into was games and enjoy first person shooting this game is for you. I played in the hard level and if you are no used to the mouse and keybrd combo get yourself a mouse. Also recommend you get a mouse with two button as a single button would be a disadvantage.
5-0 out of 5 stars great game
Recently made the switch to Mac- played this on an intel imac 20.Its my first made-for-mac game. No technical/performance issues whatsoever (didn't use multiplayer features).Even tried setting all gfx options to highest possible settings- still no problems.

4-0 out of 5 stars Oregon Trail CD-Rom review
The kids and I had fun playing the game. It's educational and fun at the same time.It makes you try to think and plan ahead. There are some tough choices to be made in order to survive.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun fun fun
I was very happy with this game- it took the bets parts of the previous Oregon Trail incarnations and wove them together for a good overall product. I can appreciate a company which recognizes both the weaknesses and the strengths of their products and uses this information to get better. In this Oregon Trail you can once again chose how many you will travel with and name them (for some crazy reason this feature was eliminated in the 4th Oregon Trail edition), but you can also CHOOSE the times you stop to collect wild fruit or fish, instead of these circumstances just happening randomly (which does not make as much sense). To me, these were the biggest changes to previous games, but they were improvements.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Strategy Game Ever!!
I bought this a month ago and I still haven't stopped playing it.I would definitely recommend this game to anyone.

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the Very Best....
Warcraft 3 is a terrific game.I could waste your time telling you that the 3d graphics are still good even after being out for so long.It has a good story that makes you want to play (unlike recent Command and Conquer games). When there's also twice as many races from that of Warcraft2 as well as the addition of Hero units you get a nifty game. Then pick up the expansion set. Then go and play it online you will not be dissapointed ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Jason Wilman doesn't know what he is talking about
Halo is a great game. It is very adddicting and you get free online multiplayer. Online multiplayer on the xbox costs money! Halo for the mac has new weapons that the xbox version doesn't have. You can even use an Xbox 360 controller if you don't like using the normal controlls. Don't listen to Jason Wilman, I doubt he's even played the game. Any NORMAL person would like this game, I guess Jason Wilman is a freak.

5-0 out of 5 stars FIGHT FLOOD, AND COVENANT FOR THE FIRST TIME ON MAC
Halo Combat evolved, is the first person shooter of the century. Bred for combat, built for war. You will fight on foot, in vehicles, in the air, and beneath the surface of an ancient ring-world orbiting in the depths of space. Improvise a guerilla war with other survivors of your devastated colony-world as you race to save humanity by uncovering the mysteries of Halo.

5-0 out of 5 stars AWESOME GAME!
At first I thought Halo was just another game my friends that my friends talked about. I heard a lot of stuff about Ghosts, Banshees, and Warthogs. I was thinking "What The...?". Then I got the game. It had a MAJOR impact on my thinking. I love the campaign, love the multiplayer(apart from the bad language some people waste time typing). I even have some Halo songs on my iPod. Suddenly Ghosts, Banshees, etc. are so cool!! ... Read more
